The best way to add to our life, is not to add to it but to subtract. Ten years from now I can guarantee that we will look back and remember who always made our frowns into smiles with a few simple words. Who lifted our spirits when we started losing faith in ourselves. Who accepted every decision we have ever made. Who carried our tears on their shoulders from every fight, break up, and let down. Those couple people made the biggest difference in our lives, most times we do not even realize it either. They loved us even though they have seen us at our worst moments...when life was completely unbearable. These people are the ones that should matter the most” (Unknown). This quote clearly represents how we should think about our friendships that we are pursuing. We should surround ourselves with the people that put in the effort to keep the friendship going, it should not be a one-sided friendship...we should have people who want to be in our lives. Always remember that everyone is not your friend and it does not matter how many people we have in ur lives because in ten years that will not matter. What is all you could offer is friendship, then how many people would you be able to call your friends? Because I know that it would not be a large group of friends, but a small group of people who love you as much as you love them.
