The liberation of trade through globalization threatens sustainability. We live in a world were international trade is common and people are more connected with each other than ever before. This threatens sustainability, as our world has been open to more problems than ever due to globalization. Globalization has affected countries economically, politically, and also societally. Globalization has affected us in many ways such as: the products people consume, the environment we live in, culture which we are bounded by, security, and idea exchange between different countries. This is also shown by the repetition of the word “vague” which tries to imply that globalization is vague and is harming us more than helping. The different forces of globalization have also had a tremendous effect on education. Now a days education is more of a profit based business unlike olden times. It had become a target of private companies, as it is a medium of a great profit. We should question ourselves that “: To what extend is education affected by globalization? How is it changing the conditions of the existing educational systems?”. With all these in mind, globalization also seems to have a great effect on the teaching and learning processes. The most significant question is how is the current move toward economic rearrangement that affect educational systems globally? While education is one of the key disadvantage in globalization, it plays a vital role in in shaping values, attitudes, and understanding of a citizen who is multicultural and part of the cosmopolitan world. It has helped countries by allowing them to do more of what they are good at and make it available for the outside world. It has helped poorer countries to gain wealth, as it is allows them to showcase the world what they are good at. Also, the people buying these things are benefited as they get the goods on a lower price. Globalization has also helped a lot in the health sector, as it helps countries who are poor get good and proper equipment and medicines to sustain the living of the people in that country. Also, the multinational countries such as Apple, also believe that in coming years we would decrease the harmess of globalization by cutting down their wastage of resources and creating eco-friendly products. Globalization has also caused an increase in the job opportunities, as jobs would be available for those even not having proper education also to be employed.
