The business environment is continuously evolving with the integration of new management trends developed to create opportunity and respond to challenges. Innovation often challenges the status quo of organizations and change agents in an organization must become entrepreneurs to meet those challenges. With that said, I have been tasked to communicate to the VP of Human Resources about the need to prepare current staff for a more diverse workforce as a result of opening a new office in Miami, FL. This geographical area is known for its cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity in comparison to the company's office in Topeka, KS.

Innovation is the key to success for any organization because with innovation, a business will always have some sort of contingency plan if things go wrong. An innovative business will always have a new product or service that they can offer that will keep its consumers happy and its competitors on their toes. “The point here is that no matter what kind of innovation the company adopts, the prerequisite for change management is innovation and without innovation, a company cannot expect its internal and external environment to be to its advantage. For instance, if Apple comes out with its new iPhone and disrupts the way in which consumers perceive a phone, it is discontinuous innovation. If Apple modifies its iPhone in a dynamic manner according to the changing customer preferences, it is dynamically continuous innovation. If it releases its iPhone after minor tweaks, then it is continuous innovation. For one, technology facilitates the implementation of change in today’s workforce. Technology facilitates the implementation of change because new technology is often what prompts change. Technology is the major driving force in today's work environment and the society as a whole. Accordingly, implementing change in the modern business continues to be the greatest challenge for change managers as the requirements for addressing change implementation problems also continue to increase. Change is necessary and inevitable, but most organizations find it hard to engage its workforce in a successful change process. Technology-induced change or implementing the change using the appropriate type of technology is required to avoid resistance from workers. Technically, technology changes an employee by modifying the way work is perceived and done. Organizations can, therefore, capitalize on the untapped capability of individuals and the society by creating technological supports to relieve workers of duties to computers and machines.
