Microwaves is an electromagnetic radiation. Its wavelength is in the ranging of 30 meter to 30 millimeter and its frequency is range from 30MHz to 30GHz. An electromagnetic spectrum (EM spectrum) is means by the broad range of a wavelengths. The electromagnetic spectrum is specified into seven regions which started from the lowest wavelength, highest frequency and energy. Then, microwaves located between the radio waves and infrared which also means that the microwaves is overlap with the highest frequency and also known as the shortest wavelength of the radio waves. With the speed of light, microwaves travels in vacuum.
Microwaves can be split into three categories, which is three different ranges, from high frequency to low frequency. Firstly, goes to extremely high frequency (EHF). Frequency of extremely high frequency is between 30Hz to 30GHz. It is also called millimeter band since the wavelength is range from 10 to 1 millimeter. This extremely high frequency is usually used in remote sensing and also radioastronomy.
Furthermore, there is a super high frequency (SHF) which is having 3GHz to 30GHz of frequency and a wavelength of 10 to 1 centimeter. It is also called a centimeter band. This super high frequency is commonly used for microwaves oven, cell phones, radar transmitters, satellite communication and etc.

First of all, metal surfaces can reflect microwaves. It also can causes the atoms or molecules in the materials vibrate by heating the materials. Next, microwaves is able to pass through glasses and plastics. It also can pass through the atmosphere and the ionosphere is also can passed through by microwaves without being reflected. Besides, depends on the frequency of microwaves, it can be absorbed by water molecules. Other than that, the transmission of microwaves is also affected by different kind of wave effects which are reflection, refraction, interference, diffraction and

He asked for popcorn kernels, and put them near the heat.” This is how we got microwaves
Connection speeds for DSL typically range from 1.544 Mbps to 512 Kbps downstream and around 128 Kbps upstream. In addition, a DSL line allows for one line to carry both voice and data signals, and for the data part of the line to be continuously connected. DSL achieves higher data transfer rates by utilizing more of the available bandwidth spectrum. Ordinary telephone service only makes use of the 0 – 3400 Hz frequency range, which accounts for the 56 Kbps speed limit on standard analog modems. DSL eludes the 3400 Hz frequency boundary by outmoding the digital-to-analog conversion that modems perform and
Unit D Summary: Light and Geometric Optics 10.1 : Light and The Electromagnetic Spectrum Chapter 10.1 covers light and the electromagnetic spectrum. This chapter starts off by describing how light is a form of energy that travels in waves. The properties of said waves include a crest (the highest point of the wave), the trough (the lowest point of the wave), and the rest position (the level of a wave without energy).
Wireless technology is used for data transmission. Wireless technology carries a particular information from one place to another. Examples of wireless technologies are a remote control because while you’re using it, it sends control commands information to your TV making you want to change the channel or record a particular programme. Another example of wireless technology is a wireless sound system because it sends audio information to speakers and headphones. Bluetooth is a wireless technology used for the exchanging of data over short distances.
1- The electromagnetic spectrum is the range of all type of EM radiation. It also describes the wavelength of light. EM radiation is the radiant energy that is released by a certain electromagnetic processes and a wavelength is the distance between successive crests of a wave. 2- The different between ionising and non-ionising radiation is that ionising radiation carries energy to ionize atoms and has more energy than non-ionising.
If the microwave is used correctly, food for the family will be provided. The dishwasher’s purpose is to clean the impurities from the dishes. If the dishwasher is used improperly, it will stop functioning until it is unclogged. There is no compromise in using the dishwasher; either Bartels is doing it correctly, or he is not. The microwave is the compromise; instead of using an oven, which is much harder to master, Edelman’s father uses the more convenient option.
This specialized station made some studios go on live and have a higher and better audience (McDougal Littell 1). Having this new technology made U.S radio sales jump up to $60 million in 1923 (McDougal Littell 1). Radio had a big impact and helped soldiers during wars by informing them. The popularity of radio and astounding growth all over the world increased during wars. (Michael Harshman 34).
It was the opposite, with the lowest frequency tuning forks that caused resonance at a higher length. There were many observations, calculations (wavelength, the speed of sound, and percent area from actual speed of sound), a graph comparing the length of two different tubes, and analysis questions. The results of the data showed that the tuning forks with the highest frequency had the shortest tube length. For example, for the 512 Hz of the open-open tube, the distance was .335m and the open-closed tube had .300m. This resulted in the wavelength to be the lowest also. Therefore, the lowest frequencies had the largest tube distance and wavelength.
Marketing Microwave Oven for White Appliances A) Situation Analysis for company and market Microwave oven became an essential part of our cooking and kitchen for household around the world because it is convenient and fast in reheat the food. Sometimes it also serves
Next, the company uses High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) to enhance the high speed 3G network in which promoting wireless broadband services. Other than that,
According to Gilbert Seldes, “the greatest success of television has been triumphs of transmission, not of invention” (Sterne 503). The possibility that something might happen to disrupt the television’s everyday flow of information compels viewers to continue watching. The cable industry formerly recognized as, ‘Community Antenna Television’ originated during the 1940’s (Streeter 223). They aim to provide enhanced signal reception in remote areas, which was distributed on a coaxial cable network owned by AT&T throughout the fifties and sixties (226). Live television builds an audience by guaranteeing direct access to current affairs and providing accurate information.
Technology refers to the use of tools, machines, materials, techniques and sources of power to make work easier and more productive. Apparently, people nowadays cannot live without science technology. There is nothing to puzzle or amaze if the people around the world have a mobile phone. Almost everything around us is the outcome or the wonderful result of technology. Development is closely related with technology.
As technology continues to improve, the usage of cell phones continues to increase too. The increase in using cell phones over the last decade has been unbelievable; and the cell phone itself has become a common facilitate for all ages all around the world. When people hear about the cell phone, majority of them usually see the positive sides and its benefits, but ignoring the risks of this small device which isquite serious and somehow dangerous. It has bad effects on health, it is a disturbing tool, because some people talk so loud in the public places which may annoy others and also sometimes it may be the cause that we forget about some works, and etc. So, majority of people who became aware of these disadvantagesin European and American countriesbegan using their cell phones less than before.
A broadcast or storage medium is utilizing electronic technology. They may include televisions, radios, the Internet, faxes, CD-ROMs, DVDs, and any other medium that requires power or digital information encoding. The term electronic medium is usually in contrast to a print medium. Impact of Media on society:
