Fundamental freedoms is about choosing how you feel what you feel or what you think. You gets to choose your religion and choose what you want to think about every day. Even if you choose to say swear words it's your fundamental freedom to do so but if you say it as if some people are horrible you would be using discrimination against others. Also if you say you are using your freedom of expression than so you are but the expression can only go so far (so limited). For democratic rights you get to vote in a election and possibly run for the same assembly's. Mostly these elected people cannot be in office for longer than 5 years unless (voted for again or) under any type of really bad consequences 5 years will be longer.
