The importance of music in life is an important component for all people to possess in their lives. I believe a child should be introduced to music at a very young age. The introduction of every type of music from classical all the way to romantic is important. This will give us the ability to form our own opinion to what we might like the best. Classical music can teach us every aspect of music including, harmony, themes, dynamics, polymeters, and polyrhythms. These are the components that are unusual in modern music today and sadly the majority of our generation doesn’t not about it. The three major components of variation are melody, rhythm, and meter. Variation is an important key to teach our generation so that they understand that there are many different ways to approach music. When I started learning about music it was a little bit complicated, but I learn that all it takes to create a beat is to hit two items together to form a repeating pattern of long and shorts sounds known as the rhythm. In music, every melody has a rhythm, or pattern of long and short beats. Music is defined differently for each individual. I refer to music as the…show more content…
The dust of stress, pain, worries, and the tension everything is washed away with the gentle stream of music. Music is the global language and it has no barriers. Music has taught me peace and harmony. And I am pretty sure that with the power of music I will live peacefully for coming years. Since I’ve been in music class I have learned how to appreciate music more. I’ve have also learned how to appreciate other people’s cultural music selection, and to understand how their music is a part of their way of life. I’m also glad that I took this class because I can see music culture from a different point of view.
