Imagine a world where people do not accept they are different and want to be the same as everyone else. If the people did not accept who they were then, that could lead to wanting to change everything about them just to fit in. It could also lead to one becoming to fake in who one wants to be that one will get bullied for how they are trying to hard. The world should never come to this so the reason that it is okay to be different. Being diverse is a chance to show people who really are. Even though being the same as everyone else can lead to less arguing and less bullying towards people, individuals should be different because if not each person would be the same which make the world uninteresting.
In other words, no one is perfect. With nobody being perfect come mistakes and consequences that may impact one 's life. The novel reveals.“Someone with the past that’s changed their future forever”(212). And “‘I’m not saying we did everything right’”(136). The text stated shows that everyone engages in mistakes and no one is perfect. For example, in Jenna 's past life, she had made some wrong decisions that later impacted Jenna 's like tremendous which comes to not being perfect, and Jenna 's parents made the mistake of not telling Jenna who she really was. This gives evidence that no one is perfect. For the reason that everyone makes mistakes that and affect one 's life. Which shows that not everyone is perfect people do in fact make mistakes.
For instance, everybody is
At this early stage of life all Equality 7-2521 knows of is a life of collectivism. Ever since Equality’s childhood he has struggled to blend into the rest of his society. “We strive to be like all our brother men, for all men must be alike.... We are one in all and all in one.
Not everyone born free and equal, as the Constitution says, but everyone made equal. Each man the image of every other; then all are happy, for there are no mountains to make them cower, to judge themselves against. [...]” (Bradbury 58) Beatty feels like everyone being the same is great however, there is a negative too. With people thinking the same way how are they suppose to think of new and creative ideas? Everyone is programmed to think the same so new ideas and inventions are very scarce compared to our society because creativity is squashed by the leaders of Montag’s
There so used to being the same, that everyone acts out the same way. To illustrate, Clarisse mentions “.. head for a Fun Park to bully people around, break window panes in the Window Smasher place or wreck cars in the Cars Wrecker place with the big steel ball.” (Bradbury 30). Everyone being the same shows lack of diversification, along with their actions. They all act the same, as they don’t think twice.
Throughout the book Equality 7-2521 challenges the idea that everyone is and must be the same. Instead he acts on his own. In the book everyone is supposed to be equal alongside their brothers. That means that no one is more important, intelligent, and so on than their brothers and by being so it is an evil in the world.
However, people do not have to conform to the standards set by society. In Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut, society forced people to be alike, in every way possible. No one person better than another. However, it shows that handicapping those who have excelled in an area of life or have greater ability than another is an injustice.
Everyone is different in their own way, which is what makes them, themselves. Yet, what if we lived in a society where everyone was the same. Imagine if everyone had brown eyes, brown hair and the same skin color. Who would be different? This is the world Jonas lives in, one where no one is individual.
Everyone has a natural desire to fit in. Everyone has a natural desire to be accepted by others. These desires are strong enough to cause individuals to give up there uniqueness. We are all told at a young age that everyone is different and that is wonderful. However, societal norms contradict this idea.
Sometimes we want to be different, but we can't. We want to stand out, but we are afraid to do so. And sometimes, we might form our own opinion. However, sooner or later we are forced to change our own opinion so that society accept us. Modern life is confusing.
The use of description and multiple plot lines demonstrates how true equality can actually be a detriment to society. Vonnegut makes it clear to the reader that if society continues in this pursuit of ultimate equality, people will lose the ability to compete and be unique, making them less individual. Society progresses today because of the skilled people who utilize their distinct talents to benefit society. If everyone has the same skills as everyone else, people are not able to cultivate their talents and in turn use them to better
"We must all be alike. Not everyone born free and equal, as the Constitution says, but everyone made equal.” Such statement, spoken by Captain Beatty from Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury on page fifty-eight, contradicts the true meaning of equality and happiness. There is nothing threatening about being different, but equality should be used as a state to place order and discipline the miscreant, not to control the people’s personality. In Sandtopia every individual is praised for the uniqueness and the knowledge they hold.
Imagine living in a world with you nothing made you unique. In Anthem by Ayn Rand, that is how Equality 7-2521 has lived his life. The society had thought of Equality as an outsider because his physical appearance was different from his brothers. “There is evil in your bones” (18). For his entire life, Equality has been frowned upon his physical and intellectual differences.
Diversity may mean different things to different people. To me, diversity is exactly that, being different and unique. Diversity makes the world a beautiful place to be, and full of interesting and different people. The beauty of human civilization lies in its diverse groups and cultures.

Have you ever watched a movie where one character does something, and they regret that decision but don’t tell anybody which causes them to get paranoid and worried? Yeah, that’s what that quote means. If just tell somebody what happened then you’ll never have to worry about it again. There is nobody in this world that hasn’t felt guilty for something; whether it be for lying, breaking something, or just doing something
Mistakes are made so you could learn from them, so you could do better. Just because a person makes mistakes does not mean he or she is a failure and they are simply worthless, they are literally just
