Relationships, in general is a connection made between one or many individuals whether it may be a positive, mutual or negative connection towards these individuals or a group or culture. The reality of relationships, be it online or offline, is complex but one could bring their offline relationship to the online landscape or vice versa. Or even having a common online relationship that would not affect their offline world due to geographical boundaries set out. Relationships can develop from both the online and offline platform and can either be brought from the offline to online or vice versa. Relationships amongst customer and company can be maintained easily. In this era, the dependence of businesses to run online is crucial as it accesses a wide range of people. People see the online platform as an ease of accessing goods. According to Scroeder (2013), there are now reported to be 1.5 billion social media users globally, with at least 70 percent of companies using some form of social media and that it makes a new type of business relationship that is of ease for both sides. He further added that one of the main impacts of this is the awareness of companies to be careful with their policies and operations. In this era or online dependency, even in Business perspective, most users of products would trust reviews from strangers regarding the products as opposed to the marketing that they 've made which is crucial in relationship building amongst the user and company itself. Yet there is the argument that organisations have no control of what would be said about them online, as stated by one publication that "most of what is said about the company will not be said by the company" (AT&T, 2011). How a company react and responds towards any online communication with any customers will be judged by other online users as this will deal with formality response and reputation that it needs to maintain to prosper. It all depends on the user to create walls of principles or breach ethics to control these implications to happen.
