Children are growing up thinking that being normal is bad and that is unacceptable. Teenagers are committing suicide daily because of bullying about being who they are. Celebrities are trying to promote themselves by posting “false” pictures of them being “happy.” Perfection is not a real thing, if you are happy with your life, that 's perfect enough. There are many factors that go into not being perfect such as, bullying, suicide and mental illness, and also there are many types of perfections.
Not to have a stereotype or anything, but there are different types of perfection to different cultures. When we see others with nicer things or somebody else’s life that’s better than ours we feel this pressure that we need to be like that. When everybody surrounding you has one thing that you don’t have, you get made fun of for it. Media has a huge effect on how we think and what we think we should look like. We are constantly pushed into a mold by society to be something or somebody that we can’t be. Our family and all conformists that surround us, telling us we aren’t good enough for standards set by society.
Each individual has a different perspective of what a perfect society is. Throughout the course of history there have been instances where an individual takes on the task of creating a perfect society to suite their opinions and perspectives. The attempt to create perfect societies are known as utopian experiments. The goal of a utopia is to employ peace and perfection through dominance, restriction, and loss of freedoms of a community. A strong disciplined leader is needed to maintain their ideas of a perfect society, to instill a sense of fear, restrict information, and violate freedoms which forms a controlling authority over the community.
We live in a Brave New World, time like absolutely no other; a time when we are desensitized and overstimulated all at once. We celebrate the athlete as a hero instead of the soldier fighting on the battle fields. Kids are growing up with television characters instead of characters in classic novels. And Hollywood actors have traded their scripts for political soap boxes. The royals of the entertainment world have chosen to use acceptance speeches, concerts and talk shows as their personal lobbying headquarters.
There are too many negative human emotions for us to ever be perfect. Hate, greed, jealousy and lust all mar human nature. In addition, perfection is a subjective term. What may be perfection to somebody is not perfection to
All individuals are not born perfect. Every individual has their flaws that has a positive or negative impact to those around them and the society. All individuals have flaws that can or cannot hide from the rest of the world. Scholars of psychology argue that obsessions cause individuals to achieve perfection and can have a positive or negative aspect to an individuals’ life. Perfection is the conditions, state, or quality of being free as possible from all flaws or defects.
Is there anyone in the World perfect? No, of course everyone is partly flawed. If there are perfect ones, they should be princesses or princes in the fairytale, and no one thinks they actually exist. Because anyone can’t be perfect and everyone makes mistakes and has their own flaws, drawbacks and insecurities.
The Pursuit of Perfection:Analysis of the unspoken portion of Ancient Greek culture. Whether we realize it or not, we all relentlessly pursue perfection. In our lives, we strive to be something better or at least to...seem that way. To live a life without faults, without the flaws that make everyone else so imperfect, but always seem to fall too far from that ideal. Perfection remains an objective that can never be reached, something that is unattainable and in stark contrast with reality.
In fact, perfectionism is not necessary about being ‘perfect’. Ask yourself this question… Is it ever really possible to be 100% ‘perfect’? We will use the following definitions to have a comprehensive view about perfectionism, which has three main parts: + The relentless efforts for extremely high standards of yourself.
Once in a while we tend to obscure the difference amongst "excellence" and "perfectionism." Yet, excellence is the thing that God needs us to seek after, while perfectionism is troublesome to our spiritual well-being. Excellence comes from God. However, when we read the gospel Christ speaks to us with the words, “Be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect.” This is a troublesome content, most likely, in that it inspires us a nervous confusion.
Representation of race and class are very prominent in the world we live in, and have always been. Although there have been many studies about the representation, the media has not chosen to be averse to closing down stereotypes in terms of how they are viewed. Needless to say, there are many television shows or films that feature the notion of race, though this has not alleviated the situation because there will still be a lot of bad representation about a particular race versus another. In this essay I will analyze the message meted out by the advertisement; Feed a Child, 11/04/14 (1:00).
Teenagers seeing these images being posted online, and it makes them change into the expectations of society. I come from a town where everyone tries to be like everyone else. If they see the latest trend on social media, they have the item ordered right
In a perfect society, you can never reach your goal. No matter how much you improve. Perfect by definition, is an unreachable. As you improve, the bar is moved further just beyond your reach (from the article, Why Utopias Fail). The first example of an unreachable goal, is the speed of light.
That is just how humans are programmed and made, perfection is just not part of the secret recipe, if you are perfect then you are not human. It is a fact that we are the ones driving through the journey of our respective lives, but life itself is not perfect, so how can you be? Every person has their own strengths and weaknesses, that is why every person has their own skills and talents. If everyone is perfect then everyone's is their own lawyers, doctors, teachers. Everyone makes mistakes, including you, your friends and your family.

She does not shy away from the actuality of self-harming nor does she hide drug use. In fact, she stuffs her video with all these terrible situations but to what end? A fairytale one.
Negative impact of celebrities on youth Celebrities have a great impact on teenagers, which is a considerable problem nowadays. We have all been witnessing unacceptable behavior by teenagers and children as well, however it is most likely to be labeled as “they are teenagers, they will grow out of it sooner or later”, but such behavior just showed up in our generation, whereas it did not exist in our parent’s and grandparent’s generations. Such a problem might not affect the society in the meantime but it definitely will be affected in the long term when this generation takes over the decision-making role. Unfortunately teenagers have an easy access to the social media where all the news of celebrities is widely spread in all the social media
