If you had a choice, who would you rather be friends with: someone who steals or gives? Most would say the person who gives, right? Trick question: if you listened to the other side of the story, in other words, another point of view, you would learn that those “two people” were actually just one person-Robinhood, the man who stole from the rich, but gave to the poor. Good morning/afternoon fellow students and teachers, have you ever considered other stories before concluding on a statement? If so, you are perspective, which is a good thing because perspective ends injustice while improving overall life. Although we use perspective in everyday life, it opens a new aspect of ideas, and is important in our faith. To begin with, perspective is one’s outlook on everything. Yes, perspective is in art and language, but it’s also present in real life situations. For instance, judges and jurors have to get perspective before concluding which side wins, or it will be unjust. Likewise, at school, we must consider all sides. If a peer asks for homework answers because they didn’t complete it, you shouldn’t jump to conclusions. They might have had issues with family or was extremely stressed and busy outside of school.
