I personally think that smoking in public should be illegal. When people smoke out in public their cigarettes are filled with over four thousand chemicals that get released into the air. When I am out having a good time and see someone smoking a cigarette in public, I automatically think about all of the toxins myself and others are breathing in and what could be happening to our bodies right now. When people who smoke cigarettes smoke out in public they do not think of the other people who are surrounding them and how they feel. I know I get irritated when people in public smoke around me because I could get second hand smoke and it could lead to lung cancer one day.
