Running is a great exercise not only for your body however, for your mind also. For example, running make sure body go through a sudden change you never thought you would ever do. I started running in the summer of 5th grade I did it just for fun with my friends who wanted to find a new activity to do. during my early middle school years and late elementary school years. I remember playing tag on the playground thinking I could barely catch my breath by just playing. I wanted to improve myself in every aspect of every way as I also suffered a low self-esteem from my body image that I did not feel favor over. I was injured by twisting my ankle the middle of an important run in Six Flags. I remember going to the bus being super excited that we were going to compete then we were going to spend a whole day Six Flags. there was 16 middle schools that day and that one place to run a 3-mile run in other words a 5K. I remember and the starting line as always I got nervous my heart was pounding out of my chest I literally felt like I was going to pass out from how nervous I was but then I heard the gun go off. I remember just taking off but not too much I wanted to save my energy for the middle of the race that 's exactly what I did in my race there was only girls in the middle of a high top of a hill I stepped on a rock. I remember feeling this tearing sensation But I merely ignored it and I continued running I love the feeling of the runner 's high I got it 's a feeling like no other it 's also when your adrenaline is pumping to the point where you don 't feel anything. It was a normal summer day. My friends have decided to all meet up at one of our houses to hang out. After we met up we all decided that we would wait around nighttime to decide on something to do. Men and women nowadays are starting to lose self-confidence in themselves and their body shape, which is negatively impacting the definition of how beauty and body shape are portrayed. “...97% of all women who had participated in a recent poll by Glamour magazine were self-deprecating about their body image at least once during their lives”(Lin 102). Studies have shown that women who occupy most of their time worrying about body image tend to have an eating disorder and distress which impairs the quality of life. Body image issues have recently started to become a problem in today’s society because of social media, magazines, and television.
Running is not only physical, however, it is also the most mentally tough sports out there, which is not something that most people know. Sports like soccer and volleyball are team sports and although cross country is as well to some extent, cross country is actually a race against yourself. Cross country is all about racing against time and most importantly yourself. A runner will do only as well as he or she want to, if you want it enough then you can achieve it.
Every man desires to sew wide. Military or defense you may have to go to any service-related chest must be broadened. Anyway, clothes only look good when your chest wide. To the gym in the morning or evening when it is more important is that you set a goal, or you have moved on from a stage.
Reflective Essay This year I have learned many interesting and new things about myself. I have learned very valuable studying techniques and life lessons.
