As a finance major, I have learned that being ethical in business decisions is of the utmost importance. I am glad that in the last four years, I have also heard about businesses becoming more sustainable. In this economy, sustainability is critical for a circular future.

Short term guilt is a useful message from ourselves to ourselves telling us to stop doing something we know is wrong. Long term guilt means we are ignoring the message. That is a sense of moral responsibility. In the heart of the great depression, responsibility was just as important in everyday life as it is today. In Of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck shows us that people have responsibilities in life, even if they’re unwanted.

I think that I would like to be on a jury and experience what is required of a juror, I think everyone should be a member of the jury at least once in their lifetime. Having to experience the juries’ duties on a civil or criminal case, in some instance would be hard. Especially in a murder case involving children or battered women. When the judge gives you direction to please disregard that statement. How can you disregard information that you have heard?
My Responsibility to America In America, we are given freedoms and our basic human rights. To make sure these freedoms such as free speech are kept, we as Americans have responsibilities to America. Whether it be in our everyday lives serving in our community or special occasions when serving on a jury, Americans are held to these responsibilities to keep the United States to the standard that it always is. Our basic responsibilities are to pay taxes and vote in elections, however, they extend far greater than those.

Social Justice and Advocacy Social justice and advocacy represents a complex approach in counseling, whereas counselors attempt to promote human growth and development and the societal well-being by attending to the challenges associated with both individual and societal issues. Advocacy embraces empowerment of the individual and out-groups as well as opposition to the injustices and inequalities in society, as they affect the client. According to Sue and Sue (2016), counselors must attend to four significant principles: equity, access, participation and harmony. 1) Equity is the fair circulation of resources, privileges, and responsibilities to all people. 2)

Every organization is socially responsible to protect the environment and they can do there much which is legally required for the organizations. The very first social responsibility of every business is that to earn enough profit to meet his expenses. If the firm cannot earn profit no social need and social responsibility can be met by the firm the firm fails.
Are we obligated to obey unjust laws? Laws are important because they are guidelines for a state. Without laws citizens would not know how to act and cause harm to others. Laws are aimed at common good and keep a society together and functioning.
The discussion on the social justice and injustice is one of the most important issues in cotemporary global scenario. New Oxford American Dictionary defines Social Justice as “justice in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society”2 (Wikipedia). Contrary to it where inequalities persist in the society it falls within the sweep of injustice. Merriam Webster Dictionary defines injustice as “unfair treatment: a situation in which the rights of a person or group of people are ignored”3 (Meriam- Webster). Thus it can be said that the concept of social justice takes the objectives of removing inequalities and affording equal opportunities to all citizens in social, economic and political spheres and social
Social Problems in Societies Social problems are issues which are considered to affect majority if not all members of a society either directly or indirectly. Whenever people come to live together in a social setting, conflict arises from their differences in opinions regarding political issues, religion, ethnic issues, cultural practices and other health and hygiene issues. In such a situation, we can say a society inevitably develops social problems. The various social issues present today vary from society to society, and as such, we cannot say that all societies face similar social issues.
