Sport is one of the many ways in which South Africans bond. They bond over the bond of watching their team succeed and even the loses of the team. Sports have played a very big part in uniting South Africans. Sports are a very well participated front. Sports allow you to show your true talents. Playing sports is another way of income for some athletes; they depend on the support of their fellow South Africans. Also hosting sports events such as the Olympic or the world or even a school tournament can generate large amounts of money which could also contribute to our economic growth. Hosting these sports events at times also attracts tourists and this could increase our economic growth too. Fans consist of a variety of different people - sport enables them to come together and agree on something.

When these fights break put they are normally a distraction to the players on the field and causes a disruption to the whole game thus this could lead to people getting angry and in some cases they could ask for a refund or they would just never support another sport event if it were to take place and this also tarnishes South Africa’s name or “reputation” per say because people could start to believe that South Africans are violent and it is not safe here. In some cases you could get drunken spectators who disrupt the game, or a bad referee decision. These things could lead to angry spectators which could also cause chaos, tarnishes the nations name, this could disrupt a community or a society because more outbreaks of arguments could break out due to unresolved sporting and could leave them divided. Some sporting events outcome could outrage the spectators and they could try attack the when team for example, when Zambia won against Bafana Bafana the fans threw stones the Zambian players
