Through storytelling, teacher will be able to inculcate different vocabulary in the story and this will allow young learners to get used to the correct form of language structure. Young learners who listen to story are actually experiencing a form of learning meaning of words in context. Storytelling becomes an effective way to introduce new vocabulary to children. According to Sen (2014), when learners have the ability to relate words to their meaning better, these words are retained in their memory for long. From this, they will be able to remember the meaning of the
(Galiguzova, 1995) stated that children’s play is filled with repetitions and imaginations based on what the children have seen, heard and experienced. Play is a way for children to explore their surrounding world with creativity and fantasy. However, Anderson, Huston. Schmitt, Linegarger and Wrigest (2001) described that “Young children’s creativity maybe displayed most obviously in imaginative play, where children generate roles, characters and objects”. Children need the hands on approach to their world with enough sense of human touch.
It helps to develop their abilities and their imagination. Children 's books when involve simple words with multiple images the child can understand the intended message. Also, illustration in picture books is contributing to the development of the child. English language used in both an everyday talk and the formal use, like literary texts. Especially it used as creativity in an everyday interaction and practices or children’s language. Language become creative if it used as an interaction humors purpose for instance, because in this case the language includes some formal aspect of language aesthetic that used in literary texts, like; pun and metaphor. Children’s language is creative also because it is a practice, means their language is about repetitions; play with sounds, and everyday poetic, so their language is creative because it has some kind of formal aspect of the language. Children’s language creativity is practice and it plays an important role in developing their grammar and oral communication.

Keshta.A.S (2013) refers to “storytelling is uniquely a human experience that enables us to convey, through the language of words, aspects of ourselves and others, and the worlds, real or imagined, that we inhabit. Stories enable us to come to know these worlds and our place in them given that we are all, to some degree, constituted by stories: Stories about ourselves, our families, friends and colleagues, our communities, our cultures, our place in history.” According to Brno (2011), “storytelling is a great way how to encourage young learners of English language to be actively participated in the process of learning a foreign language. Stories provide the things that are familiar to children and therefore storytelling is a useful way how to introduce new things in the context which is well-known for children. If there is a topic which is hard to explain to children we can integrate the topic to a story. This particular example of the topic, the introduction and solution of the problem might help children to visualize the problem and understand the topic better”.
Language and cognitive development occurs in the context of interaction, such as playing, studying, and reading. Hence, I try to interact between children in a class by storytelling through book or video. By looking back at the two situations above explained that there are many ways that can enhance the children’s learning. In general, children are interested in storytelling whether in verbally or by showing video. In my opinion, these can identify the ways of children’s thinking and perspective by explaining the lessons of the story.
