In stuco we have a president, vice president, secretary, historian and other committee chairs. The committees we have in stucco are social committee, service committee, and PR. There are chairs of each of these committee and then the general stucco members join to what committee they would like. This hierarchy set up of stuco prepares students for a real world workplace and teaches them how to work in a structured organization. As well as teaching them that, it also teaches them to be accountable and take responsibility because in stucco we have events that we put on such as homecoming. Stuco puts on the whole homecoming experience therefore we have other committees that take care of dance decorations, the football game activities, the assembly, the parade, the music, and public relations. During this hectic time, it necessary for every member to get things done on time and make sure you are accountable to your responsibilities. If you do not get what you need to do done you let people down and put people behind because they were counting on you. All of these responsibilities prepare you for future jobs because you will need to be held accountable and deal with the consequences of your actions when you mess

In my time as a martial artist, I have led students to perfect their skills. Although I could not participate in the student council this year, next year I hope I will have the opportunity. My leadership skills have grown significantly since the start of my education, and they grow every
My biggest expectation going into the internship at DFCS was that I would learn more about the social work/social services field and confirm that social work was truly what I wanted to spend my life doing as a career. I also expected to confirm my thought that DFCS was a place I would enjoy working and could see myself working in the future after graduate school. This internship met my personal expectations, however it happened in a way much differently than I expected. While the internship experience did confirm that I love social work and the social services field, it showed me that DFCS is not the agency that I want to work with as a career. I stand behind DFCS 100%; however, I don’t think I could work with DFCS long term.
Our activities incite fun competition and a sense of accomplishment for our members and students affiliated with us. This provides for us a very comfortable environment in which students can be themselves and do what they love. Our Student Council, aside from offering our own physical service to our school and community, also helps other organizations with their events. We are the go-to group in the building. If anyone needs help, our council is quick to happily and efficiently respond.
.On any given day there will be a group of students working on their associates degrees that have been there long before I started to attend Wayne County Community College. English 102 through the Alabama Early College Program has taught me the importance of writing skills. When I first began online classes for English, I quickly started learning techniques that I needed to keep up throughout the semester. Each assignment and essay is due at midnight, therefore starting or finishing an assignment early allows the writer enough time to turn in the assignment. Throughout the five modules, I have learned how to write an argument and rhetorical analysis, conduct research and write an exploratory essay. In each module, I learned writing techniques and skills that I never knew before.
I have grown as an academic student in college and career readiness, as displayed through my English 101 class. This was my third college class on the campus of Los Angeles Mission College, so I thought I was prepared and ready. Yet in my English 101 class I had to come up with my own prompts for my essays and merely came into class to listen to lectures on the basics of English. This was the first class that the teacher did not give me the rules on what to do for the assignment, I had to come up with it myself. Professor Diaz-Cooper did not hand out How-To papers or grading rubrics - she expected us to know and acquire all this information on our own.
I came into my first college writing class feeling prepared thanks to you and your investment in me as a student in your AP Lang class. I developed as a writer more than I ever had in your class, and it definitely helped me in my college writing class this semester. I already knew how important it was to revise and continuously critically think about my writing, as well as the importance of multiple drafts and peer review. My English 110 class this semester was very similar to yours because we also did multiple drafts where I could revise my paper as many times as needed. The big difference was that the focus was on different genres and how to appeal to those, which was something new compared to my high school English courses.
Our Director encouraged other groups to follow the Flutes lead and to try some of the same things. The beginning of the year was fantastic, we were all having fun and enjoying being together. However, there was one person in my section that did not get on board with the bonding everyone else was doing. No matter how we tried to include her she would not come to things and was angry that the section leader position had not gone to her. Although this experience was not a pleasant one, I learned a lot about how to deal with people and what it means to be a leader.
Community service is not just something I do to be a part of National Honor Society. Community service is more to me. To volunteer and do good for my community and others are the major reasons for me completing my service hours. Just seeing other people’s lives brighten up because of my help is my reward.
I am also a member of our school 's student council. I have been our class president for three consecutive years. Not only is this an honor, but it is also a grave responsibility. I have to take requisite action for certain things, while also considering other people 's opinions in a reverent and positive way. In student council, we must continuously propose ideas to better certain aspects of our school for our student body.

During the course of this semester, I feel that I have grown substantially as a writer. I think that I could improve even more with practice as well as using a few resources.
