Summer is one of the best and the most relaxing time of the year. Many of best things that have happened to me, have occurred during summer time . Summer is my favorite time of the year. It’s the only time I feel emancipated to do whatever I desire to do. I could spend time with families, friends, take a vacation, relax, and do so much more exciting things; but for this summer I decided to try surviving on my own. Like learning how to work to earn my own money, experience being an employee, and be more responsible for my own choices. Throughout this summer I have learned to become more contingent, and by being independent, it made my summer memorable. When I arrived at the FaleLaumei building it was crowded with teens, parents, teachers, and government leaders. Once when the entire crowd settled down, the ceremony began, and as the ceremony began I started to feel fear gobbling me up, and I felt my heart pounding so hard like drums banging, but even though fear struck me, I tried to console with myself saying, “Everything will be fine and I can do it.” Soon after the program was finished the director of the SYEP program edified all the fourteen to sixteen years old to be trained on the first week, before we can start to experience …show more content…

Carmela was very abase, and did not abdicate on training our class. By the end of training most teens were capricious, cordial to each other, and were very thrilled that they wanted to continue being trained, but then everyone had to move on and start working at the work place that was chosen for
