Everyone experiences problems from time to time. Some of our problems are big and complicated, while others may be more easily solved. There is no shortage of challenges and issues that can arise on the job. Whether in an office or on a construction site, experiencing difficulties with the tasks at hand or with coworkers, the workplace presents ongoing challenges on a daily basis. In psychology, problem solving is the concluding part of a larger process that also includes problem finding and problem shaping.
In addition, problem solving has been defined as a higher-order cognitive process that requires the modulation and control of more routine or fundamental skills. Problem solving has two major domains: mathematical problem solving and personal problem solving where, in the second, some difficulty or barrier is encountered. Further problem solving occurs when moving from a given state to a desired goal state is needed for either living organisms or an artificial intelligence system.
The researchers include problem solving in the input variable because the researchers believe that solving problems which is easily solving a difficult problem can enhance the level of thinking of the students. Synthesis
Synthesis means to combine a number of synthesis different pieces into a whole. Synthesis is about concisely summarizing and linking different sources in order to review the literature on a topic, make recommendations, and connect your practice to the research. It is usually goes together with analysis because you break down a concept/idea into its important parts/points (analysis), so you can draw useful conclusions or make decisions about the topic or problem (synthesis).
According to Wikipedia, synthesis refers to a combination of two or more entities that together form something new; alternately, it refers to the creating of something by artificial means.
According to Donald Schon (1983), suggested that the capacity to reflect on action so as to engage in a process of continuous learning was one of the defining characteristics of professional practice.
