Some people say that teaching career is the most valuable one among a hundred of jobs because it can transfer knowledge to generation by generation; However, it is definitely not easy to become a good teacher; everybody needs to spend a lots times for preparing themselves knowledge coming from a book to society so that teachers can link their lectures to the real life. Thus, many subjects and skills for teaching were studied such as cross-culture materials, literature, and even presentation,…. For me, the subject that mostly helps me much in teaching is teaching practice subject with how to teach students and how to face problems during a lesson.
Teaching practice is extremely useful for those whose are going to become teacher in the future.

Teaching practice is a wonderful course of experiene in the practical teaching instead of theory only like other courses else. What the course equiped to students is to make students more confident and lead students to the reality of teaching career independently. In my opinion, if not having teaching practice course, it is massively a mistake of our english falcuty in privacy and our educational system in generalization as well because students will be like a foolish man once having a real teaching and cannot control the class or solve the incidents happened.
By the way, to make the teaching practice course more successful, I have a proposal to english faculty that it is tremendously essential to divide class into about 20 people instead of 45 students in a class right now. To demonstrate about this, students actually need more time to practise teaching as much as they can. During the course, students can teach at least whole of a lesson – from the very beginning to the end - by him or herself individually. Once it can be occured like that, students will realize exactly what they are really weak and then they have an implementation for their orientated career
Another technique I learned is to create good classroom procedures and rules. Having good procedures and rules will allow the students to know what I expect in the classroom and the class will run fluently. I also learned about motivation in students. We discussed certain strategies that we can use as an educator to increase motivation in the classroom. Some strategies that I will use in my classroom are; to use rewards sparingly, make my students feel welcomed, be positive, use praise orally, promote mastery learning, and use clear and constructive
My eyes automatically drifted to the tall bright palm tree that moved along with the rhythm of the wind. It’s leafs danced as they presented their welcome. The sun shined down and hugged me with warmth, giving my skin a tingling, but satisfying sensation. I had come from Virginia to California, the famous, constantly spoken of state, that finally reached my sight. The state presented its beautiful attributes to capture my wonder and mesmerization.
My Reflection of Real Talk for Real Teachers Real Talk for Real Teachers written by Rafe Esquith has been thought provoking as well as entertaining to read. I have learned a great deal from reading this book and I hope to implement a few of his ways in my future classroom. I can relate too many of the stories that have been told in this book because this is real life in a school environment. I would like to break my summary down chapter by chapter.
Teacher’s have such impeccable abilities such as the ability to engage a class, interact with each student, and encouraging teamwork are much more important
All skills apart from the academic ones which are important to being a good teacher and demonstrates my willingness to go the extra mile. Studying and working in education has shown me that it is a challenging and rewarding career, but I believe my track record of dedication and hard work in both elements suggests that I can meet its demands. Academic success to me is achieving good grades and understanding the material to get good grades. Academic success also means to have an good attendance. I already get mostly A’s and B’s, but I am not good at staying on top of things. To improve my academic success I will attend class more often, be more organized, pay attention in class, and not procrastinate.
The paper reflects on my experience during the teaching practicum. Initially, it analyses the strategies my Mentor Teacher (MT) adopted in her teaching and interaction with the students. Additionally, it analyses the techniques I employed to motivate, monitor, and manage students during my teaching practice. Finally, it discusses how I will improve my teaching in terms of instructional strategies, classroom interaction, objectives-activities-assessments alignment, and classroom management.
I can consider my professional development experience in two parts: Before I became a teacher and after I became a teacher. During my teacher education at university I used to imagine myself as the teacher of that lesson and I used to try to draw some tips for my future job. I observed my teachers’ way of teaching, their rapport with students and their reactions. I always commented on why or why not they behave in that specific way and search for examples to be applied in my future job as a teacher. I believe that these observations provided me with some valuable and conclusive clues for my job.
In this assignment, I will be writing on how to apply the principles of pedagogy in my area of specialism. Effective teacher uses diverse teaching strategies and universal approaches that suit situations, different strategies in different grouping of learners to improve learning outcomes, There are different teaching styles that suit different learners backgrounds and ability. Teachers are ldentified in their profession as ‘learning specialist’ , and there are five principles of good pedagogy which are Motivation, Exposition, Direction of activity and Inviting imitation. Andragogy is the best approach for effective delivery and pedagogy, both approaches must be used to ensure effective delivery. The principle is the idea of the curriculum and requirement of my subject area, I adopted pedagogy and andragogy that learners will understand The word motivation preceeds teaching at all times the teacher is preparing for delivery of effective and engaging instructional process.
This essay will explained the kind of teacher professional identity promoted by SACE and COTEP under the pillars of curriculum 2005 and NQF forming part of the white paper 1995 in redefining identity and difference in the education system after 1994 and it will also discuss how this identity did not and could not match the realities on the ground. Professionalism is the personal effort to act in a job that reveals fitting attitudes, behaviors and practices of the job. In teaching these attitudes may be: “having specialized knowledge which is the content knowledge and the ability to teach were teachers gain this on a lengthy period of higher education which is a four years to obtain the B ed degree were in the lengthy period teachers in the making learn to focus client interest maintaining a high level of responsibility learning and obtaining the ethical code of conduct” (SAIDE, 2010). By producing good quality results a teacher will be showing professional skills. Professionals require considerable freedom or autonomy to make judgments because they have to draw on knowledge based skills It is also showing that you believe in being professionally autonomous while accountable to the standards of you practice by having professional control over the credentials and the entry to teaching” ( SAIDE, 2010).
There must be Willingness of the teacher to accept responsibility for classroom control and Long-term, solution-oriented approaches to problems. Techniques for Better Classroom
Being a teacher is a journey that has much to do with learning about yourself and being aware that what happens in your classroom reflects only on how are you with yourself. Teachers are not conscious that they project into students, and that affects how things go in the classroom. I believe the first characteristic of a good teacher is that he/ she is always willing to analyze his/her teaching performance. Second the teacher is humble enough to receive input about the development and application of techniques, learning from it and improving.
Although the lesson plan’s primary objective is to improve the overall quality of teaching to benefit students, this also improves teacher motivation and development. This is achieved through using the lesson plan as a permanent record of lessons taught. In the case where the lesson has been
