My undergraduate school was very hectic and stressful due to the fact that I had to drive one hour to get to school. The school has a good MSN program but I dread driving that long distance and having to work full time. I researched Walden University and was convinced that the online program is a good choice for me

To be successful in life, you have to plan. Planning helps reduce stress and anxiety. You also have to be well disciplined to be able to succeed in an online class; checking instructor's emails daily and participating in class discussions. I will have to dedicate 3-5 hours daily for studies and participating in class activities. It is important to schedule days and time for school assignment, " time management is an element of task management – scheduling and calendaring tasks in a project". ( Mizrachi, D., & Bates M.J (2013). It is also important to balance your work schedule and class schedules to be successful. " integrating online learning into your already busy schedule can be difficult. Therefore, it is important that online learners plan their time carefully". A full-time flexible schedule demonstrates the need and usefulness of time management techniques. It is even more imperative to stay on top of my educational workload and while juggling full-time jobs. The most precious resource is time, and learning to control time is the key to academic success.

He also talk about how the teacher are also need to learn from the students and how they can improve their teaching so it would be best fit for all the students in the classroom. I have two school aged children and as such, find balancing time with them and seeing to their needs with classes and assignments difficult, though not impossible. I know I have the ability, but occasionally find myself worrying about whether I am going to be able to gain a comprehensive understanding of the coursework in the time scales that have been set. I take time to write and think, and produce my best work. I pay much attention to detail and this slows me down sometimes. Workload and deadlines may require a hastened approach to work in some circumstances, something I will need to work on.
Time management is important to have because it helps get work done more efficiently and is a way to manage your priorities. Priorities along with making commitments are also learned from participating in a extra activity.
