Without a doubt, it is apparent that the media have an increased capacity to affect the modern society. Some people believe that the society influences the media content. However, research indicates that the media has been successful in determining current trends in the society. Specifically, increased access to various media forms has altered social and cultural trends. For this reason, scholars have been interested in the ways in which the media has redefined the modern society. Unlike in the past, the effect of the media is evident even in the most rural areas. After finishing the Intensive English Program, I started to take Math classes and some courses before getting into the major. I was struggling could not find a way to pass these courses.
