Here, we will see the range of the prevalence of students who commits plagiarism among secondary school students and university students and their awareness about this phenomenon. It seems in literature and media that acts of academic dishonesty have rise dramatically among students. According to (Scanlon & Neumann, 2002), It noticed that all have an internet and this is as a reason of significant decline in academic integrity and doing plagiarism. As (Alam, 2004) said that academic dishonesty increased widely particularly plagiarism in assessments. It is high at all time and still increasing in Australian universities. The external contributing factors includes time, grade, professors and task pressure. However, they found three of internal contributing factors which were negative lack of awareness , lack of competence and personal attitudes. Also (SALLEH, 2011) states in his research, that some authors proposed six factors leads to the plagiarism. They were personal attitudes, lack of awareness, lack of competence, availability of internet resources, institutional features and pressure. However, In another studies just found four contributing factors only. According to (Zamani, heshi, Ghahfarokhi, & Najafi, 2013), They searched about the factors that influenced in committing plagiarism. The study showed the factors which results in plagiarism are : lack of understanding, Lack of information, personal attitude and lack of competence. They supposed that the factors which results in this act do not linked to widespread of Internet. They found personal and contextual factors related to plagiarism. The students plagiarize because they don’t have enough time instead of numbers of tasks that needs to work on. The number and type of tasks and the student learning period are causes to commit this act. Students suffer from short time to work on all tasks and how can keep on a good social life.
