The Middle Ages held many interesting events, such as jousts and raids. The Middle Ages lasted about a millennium, starting at around 476 A.D., and ending in about 1500 A.D. The Middle Ages revolved around Europe, including places like Scandinavia and Rome. The government in Middle Ages was shaped like a pyramid. These levels marked who you were and you rank in society. For example, peasants and serfs were at the bottom, then vassals and knights, followed by lords and clergy, and at the top was royalty. Also, in a pyramid, the bottom is the biggest and the top is the smallest, and so was the population. Majority of the people were peasants, and very few very royalty.
