Introduction According to the Internet World Stats (2011), over two billion people were ardent internet users. This means that this number of people rely on the internet for different elements. Each innovation brings along many risks. One of the risks related with the Internet use is Internet addiction. The dramatic in-crease in the use of internet in the recent years has led to internet addiction. The effect of internet addiction includes the impairment of academic performance, psy-chological well-being and interaction with peers and family members. The Internet itself is mostly harmless tool, but the over-use and incorrect use of it encourages the risk of addiction.
