At 1910 hrs, Sgt. Modrzynski drew his taser & applied a dry stun to inmate Gagneur left shoulder. Due to inmate Gagneur threatening to spit & attempting to bite my arms, as I was applying pressure points to restrain him. At 1913 hrs, inmate Gagneur was fully restrained, & moved to holding cell a without further incident. In Their Eyes Were Watching God rabies is mentioned many times. Tea Cake took it (water) and filled his mouth then gagged horribly, disgorged that which was in his mouth (Hurston 166). He sprawled on the bed again and lay there shivering until Janie and the doctor arrived (Hurston 167). Tea Cake was tired and Janie thought it was because he overstrained himself in the storm walking and swimming, but it was actually a symptom (Hurston 167). Tea Cake wakes up and he becomes anxious and excited about Janie leaving and he comes up with crazy reasons of why she would leave and those are more symptoms (Hurston
The sand got inside no matter what they did and the smog gets in every time someone walks in. People would hang damp towels over the windows to keep the sand out but nothing worked. In Delhi they filtered the air inside, but every time someone walked in the smog would enter alongside
The Hollywood version was good when it comes to the setting, but it was difficult to understand where they were because it was dark and there wasn’t any description on where they were. Since She’s The Man showed more setting changes, it is easier to watch and more
Warren utilizes imagery The poem states, “Drip in darkness like a leaking pipe in the cellar”. We associate a leaking pipe with an unfinished job that was probably caused by a distraction. Humans are very well known to be distracted upon something we favor/endure. Distractions make humans ignorant of what is actually going on. The “Drip in darkness” is like the night, when everybody is asleep and the droplets of water fall one by one.
The doors of the cell were made of heavy wood to keep inmates from contacting one another. There are many reported ghost sighting and hauntings in Eastern State. Cell block 12 is known for echoing voices. Cell doors have been reported to open by themselves in cell block 12. Cell block 6 is known for shadowy figures, which tourist has seen.
BAMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The sound of Jack punching me. Him and his crew were called Tumos. But I still didn’t understand what that meant. It was me against six of them I was pretty stuck. This is how it’s gonna be for now on.
You took the right route, it is very dark not something you are used to, but can adjust to it. The pathway you walk down is starting to become more small until you can barely walk through. There is a door on the end. It’s just like Willy Wonka’s factory but less fun and filled with thousand year old brick, Disgusting. You get to the door barely fitting through it as you slide your backpack through first
I was lying on the ground inside a dimly lit cell soaking in my blood and I was terrified, feeling the last bit of my strength slowly leaving me. I tried to fight back the fear and helplessness that I felt knowing that I was a going to die, but it was something that could not be accomplished in moments like these. I was starting to feel the numbness replacing the pain of my mutilated body. “Say… Do you want to live forever?” A distant and foreign voice sounded in my head.
“Hopelessly, I wanted to prove to myself that my own sensibility was projecting a nonexistent consciousness upon the axolotls.” The young boy feels confined and stuck in his own mind. He wants to feel like his thoughts have an effect on the creatures that have such a hold on him. But as mentally trapped at the boy feels, he is free physically. “It 's that we don 't enjoy moving a lot, and the tank is so cramped—we barely move in any direction and we 're hitting one of the others with our tail or our head—difficulties arise, fights, tiredness.”
Screams and cries of insanity can still be heard echoing down the halls of Eastern State as men and women were being hooded in order to leave their cells. The faint cries of children can be heard as they were roaming around half clothed in Pennhurst. The cells in Eastern State were surprisingly accommodating considering the circumstances, but they were not someplace a person would call “home”. Life in either of these facilities was nowhere near enjoyable. If someone was not crazy when admitted they soon would become so.
Once he reached the bottom he saw a giant gate in the darkness. The brass gate opened and let Erkankten in. As Erkankten entered the dark lair he heard something in his mind, someone was talking to him through
Only to realize my dad vanished out of the alley. I started to panic and tears streamed down my pale face. Beating my fists “thud, thump, thud” onto the black chipped railing that led the path down the ramp. The alley where the car had once sat a few moments ago now was replaced with potholes here and there with grass growing through the cracks.
He was quiet as Pitch spoke, hands clenching into fists as he hung his head low. A feeling of dread washed over him as he faced the reality of his vulnerability near Pitch. Having him read his fears and proclaim them out loud when he himself were unable to, felt somewhat wrong. But despite it all, this didn 't hold as much bite as the first time it happened. To Jack, it felt like a rehash.
