Many people also enjoy outdoor sport like running, playing sports, group exercise, weight lifting as their form of exercise. Most of the people who attend a gym, go to lift weight, in fact some of those people commit to losing weight instead of lift weight for muscle. Those that enjoy lifting weights often enjoy working out in the privacy of their home, at community centers like YMCA, at a health club or a gym.
We know it will be good for us, but we can never seem to drag ourselves to do it. Excuse after excuse, the guilt builds up, and we find ourselves in gym shorts and tennis shoes headed to that formidable building we are all far too familiar with—the gym. At first, it might mistakably seem as a simple sanctuary for a workout—a quick jog on the treadmill or a joyride on the elliptical—but in actuality, it is an entire world of its own: a universe of competition and a solar system full of yoga pants and tank tops. Century Bikeathon where I and another classmate traveled to Council Grove KS to greet all the participants as they made their way in after a one hundred mile bike ride.
