Student loans can be an okay thing, for some students that don 't have money and don 't want to wait to go to school they can get a loan. Some loans can be difficult to get paid back but it’s not something that is impossible. If you can get a scholarship and then what you have left to pay you can always get a student loan. Then get a job to work and pay off that loan. It may seem like a lot of work but the outcome is going to be worth all the hard work.
I think that paying student should happen because if we get paid we have more motivation to do the work and have more reasons to do better. Every year 1.2 million people drop out of school because of no motivation. Plus if we save up we can pay for college. If we have motivation we have more control of our grades. For example if we get paid we will focus more at school more than we would if we didn 't get paid because most kids love money and if they get paid they will think of school as an actual job.
Thousands of people who graduate high school consider the option of going straight into the work force or going to college to further your education. However some don’t consider college because of the cost of tuition. College is worth the expense of tuition because even though student loan debt and tuition can be a problem there are ways out of that situation. The first reason college is worth the expense of tuition is that Scholarships help pay for school. If your heart is set on a certain career and you want or require a degree, you can use those scholarships to pave the way to your dreams of having a lifelong career that you furthered your education for.
College’s Worth Attending college has always been a goal to complete, but why do parents think it is so important? A college degree is known to help have opportunities in the workforce later on. Having a degree will benefit when competing for jobs. College teaches skills that people have not come by, like being independent. Although college can be expensive when looking at the cost of tuition, extreme benefits will come attending the higher education.
My second reason why I want to go to college is because I can get a higher income.I feel this is one of the most common reasons why a lot of people want to go to college especially their first reason. We all have bills to pay and food to buy so.People say money doesn’t make the world go round but in my perspective or maybe just in my life money does.Being a college graduate can give you a higher income something that a high school education or a full time job can’t get you.My dad always told me that if you just have a high school education or less you you have to do alot of work for a low income, but if you are a college education or higheryou have to do very little and get a higher income.Acording to the bereau of labor statics,a person with a college degree can earn as much as one million than a person with just a high school education. You might think that college is expensive but the outcome is better, dont worry about how much your college cost, books get finicail aid help get a job do whatever you can to get a college
I would love to be able to take on this challenge. In order to do so, I need help financially. It will cost me roughly 61,000 dollars to attend college and i’m going to work hard to earn the money so I can be funded. My financial status isn’t that of a humongous one. If my mother could I know she would pay every step of the way for me to abandon this small town and pursue these immense dreams of mine, but the fact is she can barely pay to keep herself, along with her 2 sons up and going.
Throughout all of my years at school, I have been constantly reminded by my parents that I must do my very best in school so that my college will be paid for, because they wouldn’t have enough money to put me through. The ASPMA Scholarship would mean a lot to me as it would help me greatly and enhance my college experience by allowing me to have the highest possible grades, help me grow into an involved, more social person, and relieve some stress that inevitably comes to every college student. Since I would rather not assume student loans during college, I must work if my scholarships don’t cover all of my school expenses. The more I work, the less time I will have to study, and the more stressed out I will be. I believe the ASPMA Scholarship will help me to have the best grades possible because with more funds, I will have to work less, giving me more time to study and less scenarios to worry about.
“An important pathway to the middle class now runs through higher education, but rising costs are making it harder and harder for ordinary Americans to get the education they want and need” ( Sanders). Many student who’s families can not easily afford the cost of college often do not further their education after high school. Students that know that their family struggles with money already don’t want to ask for more so that they can go to college. As the cost of college has been on the rise many have talked about wanting to provide students with a free college education. Many bring up that the states grant their students with free public education till they complete the twelfth grade.
Being open-minded to learn or do new things can show one's true passion for a profession. Lastly, many students go into college and change their major at least once, going through college helps show you what you really want to invest your time in as a profession (Importance of College Education). It’s okay if one doesn’t know what they want to do going into college, there are many things offered in college someone can learn to love, and want to do in the future. All in all, finding oneself is an important part of life. There are many things college has to offer that’ll help someone not only teach them new things, but help them pursue their
If I were to receive the John Williams Memorial Scholarship it would make my life so much easier and make my goals and aspirations so much more achievable than they would have originally been without this scholarship. My parents do not make very much money as it is and they can not afford to give me money to help pay for college, so receiving this John Williams Memorial Scholarship would help to make my life less stressful. I will have to rely heavily on scholarships and student loans to help me pay for furthering my education. If I were to receive this scholarship I would not have to worry about working extra hours at a job that will take away from the time that I could be spending on studying and finishing essay or assignments. I would also
Collegiate athletes bring in so much revenue and money to the universities and do not get any financial credibility for it. To solve the problem of the athletes not being paid for the things 2 Works cited they do, the NCAA can give the athletes enough money to support themselves, or they can buy the necessities for them so they know the money is going to the right place. The most significant solution is giving the athletes enough money a month to support themselves. My solution is easily feasible because there is not that much money being spent on the athletes themselves. Financially this solution is feasible because the NCAA has more than enough money to give each of the athletes small shares to get what they need.
