The accumulation in population added onto the problem by leaving more people to be replaced by machines and eventually become poor. This generation brought many people and there wasn’t a sure reason on why, but the size multiplied by as much as three sizes (Avery 123). Most explanation on why population built was because of longer life span, immigration, and survival of infants (Avery 120). The men tried to get occupations, but all of the leftover positions were unskilled and still left them not being able to provide anything for their families. Wages were so low that even when one worked, they barely had enough to live on, so without a job there was no money to fall back on.
Unemployment is the situation where a huge population of a country, state or a place besides having education and experience, doesn’t get a job to earn an income. Sometimes, due to lack of the government’s budget or higher educational standards, a number of populations remain unemployment. Unemployment is one of the biggest problems in the world. One of the targeted countries that are suffering from unemployment is Afghanistan. As we know that in Afghanistan, unemployment is in a very high level.

However, as the government printed out more money, the money lost it’s value, so it basically became worthless. And because of this, the prices for food became too high. Therefore, this puts many cashiers in another heavy financial position where they are forced to spend their already low profit income on individual health insurance or other insurance options. The only way to fix these problems is for the cashier or other low-pay employees to work harder and longer shifts which is not a quality, permanent solution. Few years back, the then Federal Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh admitted that the Public sector enterprises (PSE) of Pakistan are inefficient, poorly managed and burden on the national exchequer. The PSEs in Pakistan includes Pepco, Railway, PIA, Pakistan steel, NHA, Utility Stores, PASSCO, TCP and many more. Such losses are consuming national resources, it weakens the economy and increase the national debt. The PSE’s have outlived their useful live and instead of contributing to the national wealth they have in fact become a burden. The resources that should be used for the betterment of people, are being consumed by these enterprises.

People who do not accept a certain race, religion, caste and ethnicity still exist and so the survival of earning money becomes difficult and many are forced to leave the country. Ireland has an extraordinary high rate of unemployment . “It is true that the scale of the construction bubble and subsequent bust in Ireland made a considerable amount of economic pain inevitable, but Iceland outside the Eurozone had an even bigger bust and unemployment is now down to below six percent.” (Yglesias.M ,2014) There are ten countries in the Eurozone that have worst of rate than in Ireland.
The increasing inflation rate has very bad effects on people. The prices of goods and services are so high that everyone cannot afford it. In addition to it taxes on daily routine items and services increases their prices further. The employee’s wages are not increased in accordance with the inflation and their expenditures are increasing every day. In fact many of the poor people are deprived of basic needs like food, shelter and cloths.
In Pakistan now, there has been an alarming phase of mass-unemployment among the educated youth. Post-graduates and graduates are walking pillar to post in search of employment. When there is slowdown in economy, there is surge in the number of uneducated unemployed people. Many educated people are knocking at the gates of offices just for the position of a petty clerk and get disappointed when they read the words ‘No Vacancy’ on the gate. Numerous cases of suicide among the unemployed young men have been a feature of our time.
