Literature is frequently comprehended by most people as a mass of writings. In particular, it refers to those reckoned to have the aptitude of being inventive and rational, or which deploy languages which departed from the common usage. Global literature, on the other hand, has two different definitions where the first one explains it as the summation of all literatures of the world, including personal and nationalized work. The second definition is, global literature consists of the world’s classics, or the most sought after works that are read across time, ethnic and language borders in which they were produced and become the intercontinental patrimony of civilization. 2.2 Description of Wound and its Association with Microbes Skin is the largest organ in the human body, plays a crucial role in the sustenance of life through regulation and maintainance of water and electrolyte balance, thermoregulation, and also acting as a barrier to external noxious agents including microorganisms, however, when the epithelial integrity of skin is broken, a wound results (Zafar et al. 2008). A wound is an abrasion in the skin and the exposure of subcutaneous tissue after the loss of skin integrity provides moist, warm and nutritious environment that is conducive for microbial colonization and proliferation (Duguid and Colle, 1975). Wounds disrupt the protective barrier of the skin thereby creating a channel of entry

independence from the British. Several days before the independence day, on 27th of August 1957, the first Federal Constitution of Malaya came into force. Then on the 16th of September 1963, the Constitution of Malaya was modified to fit the eleven states of the Federation of Malaya, Sarawak, Sabah, and the State of Singapore to form the Federation of Malaysia. However, in August 1965, Singapore left this newly-formed federation to become an independent republic. Brunei withdrew at the last minute.
Even in modern times, Islamisation is still on the rise. Due to the power Islam potentially holds, it is important to understand the relationship between Islam and politics. As Indonesia is home to the largest Muslim population in the world, it would be suitable for use as a key example. In the case of Indonesia, the introduction of Islam can be divided into three phases; from 622 to 1100, as a product of commercial contact with maritime regions of the Indian Ocean through trade that dates back to before the Islamic period; from 1100 to 1500, where the widespread of Islam was focused more on the spiritual belief rather than rituals.
Firstly, we believe our respondents have personal experience with the racial advantage to Malays. When asked if respondents personally believe Malays have special privileges in Malaysia, a majority of 48 (96%) agreed that they do (Haque, 2003). This was consistent with our research. As stated before, the Malaysian Federal Constitution holds specific privileges for natives and bumiputeras only (Pusat Komas Malaysia, 2015).
CULTURE OF THE BATEK Introduction In this paper, I will discuss the basics of the Batek culture and how being an egalitarian society permeates their culture. The Batek are a society consisting of approximately 800 people living primarily in the state of Kelantan on the Malaysia Peninsula. They are an egalitarian society, which is a concept where social equality is essential, and neither males nor females have control over the other group (Endicott, K. M., & Endicott, K. L., 2008). They are known as hunters and gatherers and are nomadic, moving as needed based on weather, food supply, and the forest (Endicott, K. M., & Endicott, K. L., 2008).
Our country, Malaysia is a small, tropical country that lies within South-East Asia. Although it is small, it has a number of things to boast about. And the most prominent among these things is its multiracial community. This is due to people of different races living together in harmony within the borders of this little country. This has shaped Malaysia into a melting pot of vastly different cultures and religions, creating diversity.
Introduction Malay families and households in Singapore experience various socio-economic changes due to industralization. As familes and households are not fixed nor isolated from the wider society, these socio-economic changes are seen to tamper with the “ideal Malay family”. Djamour (1959) states that the “ideal Malay family” is predominantly made up of a nuclear family comprising of a married couple and children. The head of the household is the chief wage earner and is mostly the man, while women see to housework and caring of small children. This natural patriarchal notion result in a very clear divisions of male-female domains of daily responsibilities in a household (Nirmala, 1993).
As human beings, we are all born with an entitlement of freedom of speech or synonymously known as freedom of expression as it is a basic human right. It is stated in the Federal Constitution and it is important for us human beings to protect our rights to freedom of speech and expression as it is the backbone for a democratic society. Having the right to express oneself freely without any restrictions is an essential part of what it means to be a free human being. Article 10 in the Federal Constitution states that; (a) every citizen has the right to freedom of speech and expression; (b) all citizens have the right to assemble peaceably and without arms; (c) all citizens have the right to form associations.
