What is love? The word has a very broad meaning. In general, it means to feel deeply for someone or something. Love is to have a strong connection. It is not easy to describe love in a general sense; it is not easy to understand love from a general standpoint. This may be due to the fact that love is not felt in a “general” way. When love is felt, it is felt for something specific. Love can be felt for a mother, father, sister, brother, or pets. Also, one can feel love for a significant other: a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, or wife. Aside from love for a person, there is love for a “thing,” meaning anything from a sport (basketball) or an article of clothing (Ugg boots). To really understand love, look at its effect. I like sports. Specifically I love basketball and archery. To this day I practice archery but I don 't play basketball that much anymore. Yet I feel the same way about them both. I love them. I find them fun sports. Whenever I watch or play basketball, it seems as though nothing else matters. It is a time when I don 't have to stress about anything. Hence, it is a stress reliever. Like basketball, archery too is a stress reliever. I got my bow as a sixteenth birthday present. I shoot it whenever I can. I’ll take my friends with me sometimes and teach them too. It is an amazing feeling to hear the arrow hit the target and then run up to the target to see that I hit a bullseye. It makes me smile every time. Although, I find the feeling almost even more amazing when a friend that I am teaching hits a bullseye because it not only puts a smile on my face, but it puts a smile on theirs as
