Defining the term 'Lifestyle '
Your lifestyle is the way you live. This includes your habits, attitudes, tastes, moral standards, economic level, relationships and everything else that forms part of how you cope with your physical, psychological, social, and economic environments on a day-to-day basis.
You lifestyle is expressed in both work and leisure behavior patterns and in activities, attitudes, interests, opinions, values, and allocation of income. It also reflects your self image or self concept, which is the way you see yourself and believe that you are seen by others. Lifestyle is a composite of motivations, needs, and wants and is influenced by factors such as culture, family, reference groups, and social class.

The Medias Influence on your Decisions
The media is everywhere and easily accessible to billions of people, which makes it so easy for the people controlling television, the radios, newspaper, magazines and adverts to get their messages out to everyone.
This can have a positive effect on our decisions if the message being portrayed is good. For example if newspapers and promoting helping animals or cleaning the beaches, and this causes people to make the decision to go and do these things that would mean the media has a positive influence in our decisions. The same could be said if an advert in a magazine or on tv caused people to take up running, try a new hobby or begin eating healthier.
