The mega tunnel shook with great distress as trucks ran back to the Mexico border. The grey walls and dim lighting cast eerie shadows along the wall, as both lanes were moving away from the U.S. All Cato could do is slow the troops down. He went over to an old wood support beam that had the same color as the walls, his jeep sat idle as he rigged its winch to the base. With one pull from the vehicle, the base slipped right out and fell onto the roadway. Cato un-hooked and jumped back in the jeep, racing to catch up with the immigrants. With time running out, he sped from the tunnel, in the process he knocked down barrels full of gasoline inside the entrance. Cato stepped down from his little jeep and could hear a rumbling tank in the distance, as the enemy got closer he lit the red flare and threw it inside the tunnel. The flames erupted with such an intense heat the fire burned bright red. The flames danced and licked the ceiling of the tunnel catching more wood on the fire. The wood could not stand the immense heat and began to break under the strain, finally the whole thing collapsed with the hellish fire…show more content…
Then there was a slight rumble, and the dirt erupted behind him with a tank blazing through the earthy fire. Sparks flew everywhere and the giant machine came crashing down, and was in hot pursuit. Cato gunned it through the garage doors and sped through the streets, the tank was close to follow, ripping a hole in the side of the building. Cato knew that the air force would be soon to follow, so he turned down a dark rat infested alley way to throw the heat. Cato exited the alley and made a hard right, skidding sideways into a public
