Bully has drawn more attention in public since the death rate resulted out of bully has been increased. It could happen everywhere under any circumstances, physically or mentally. Bully wasn’t a new issue. It happened since the human being appears. There are too many reasons arousing the bully, but no one can deny that It is one of the frailties of human nature. Anyway, The victim of the bully affords plenty of pressure that could pay for a high price, such as life. In this paper, I’m going to analyze the characteristics of the two victims in the story of All summer in a day and The Moose and the Sparrow. It can be concluded that the victims has been chosen because of their different appearances, introvert temperament and some experience that was envied.

So the victim was like a puppet to be controlled by the bully.
The long lasting depression caused two distinctive results. Maybe a Non/never stop bullying like Margot, or the impulse bursting another tragedy, such as Maddon’s suddenly death. They are all open ended the story without telling the reader a specific ending, but the result can be predicted in accordance with the author’s existing information.
Like the words Mr Robinson said to Cecil, “There are some men, who are so twisted inside that they want to take it out on the world. They feel that most other men have had better breaks than they’ve had, and it rankles inside them. They try to get rid of this feeling by working it out on somebody who’s even weaker than they are.” As we known, bully has existed everywhere in our daily life. People around the world are seeking fairness and promote correct realization for everyone, hoping diminish discrimination. In the short stories “Celia Behind Me” by Isabel Huggan and “The Scarlet Ibis” by James Hurst, there is both a bully and a victim. In Celia Behind Me, the narrator Elizabeth is bullying a young girl named Celia to disassociate herself from her, advancing herself in the social hierarchy of her friend group. The narrator in “The Scarlet Ibis” trains Doodle, his disabled brother, to walk. Unfortunately we learn on Doodle’s sixth birthday that he does this not to only benefit Doodle but also himself for he fears being seen with a brother who was not normal. These two stories have many similarities but also some major key differences with their antagonists motivations, and decisions.
Both the bullies in the short stories are broken in some way or another. In “Fear” it’s Frankie T, he has no father, no food and gets beat by his mom “We knew the house he lived in: The empty refrigerator, the father gone, the mother in a sad bathrobe, the beatings, the yearnings for something to love.” This shows that Frankie was a broken kid, he wanted to be loved, he had no father and was poor. These are a lot of reasons why he would become a bully. In “The Case Study” it’s Jill and Rhonda mostly, Jill was the old victim of the letter which may have offended her a lot, and Rhonda maybe was a little bit mad that Sue wrote the letter.
Bullying is a very terrible and overwhelming experience for any person to experience. Most people being bullied find that standing up for themselves is not an option because of the allusion that they have no power over the antagonizer. So imagine if the bullies were a fourth the age of the patronize victim. In Carolyn Thompson’s article,“ Bullied NY Bus Monitor Teaches Kindness Year Later” we hear the heart-wrenching story of an elderly bus monitor named Karen Klein, who witnesses that strangers affection expressed through a generous donation of an exponential sum of money can surpass the viciousness of a few immature boys. Thompson expresses her belief that Klein deserves this exceptional amount of money through the entirety of her article.
Many people in society today do not care about the feelings of others due to the fact that they see themselves higher than others especially children and disabled people. This affects the individual entire life by not accepting the truth about themselves “the real you”, but rather accepting the inappropriate and abusive behaviors of others. Psychologically, people who get bullied feel left out and trouble themselves by expecting the worst of things around them which may also lead to mental health issues such as anxiety. Grealy believes that no one could ever like or love her romantically due to the insults and teases she gets from people. This made

In “How to Handle a Bully,” by Kathiann Kowalski, an experienced journalist, Kowalski reports the different strategies to stop bullying. She explores many reasons why bullying occurs at the first place, and who starts bullying. Kowalski exemplifies the situations that victims could be in, and the solution on how to handle the bully.
In the essay “Beyond Bullying” by Krissy Darch and Fazeela Jiwa the readers got a chance to further their understanding of the injustice many victims bullying receive in Canada. The essay starts off with focusing mainly on two victims of bullying; Amanda Todd and Rehtaeh Parsons. These two victims cases were posted on social media under the title of cyberbullying but little did everyone knows that both girls were faced with sexual harassment by younger men. The felonies that Rehtaeh and Amanda both went through was the outcome of a sexist system that states a women body does not belong to her solely. The term bullying is understood differently, across the globe.
Through imagery and repetition, Pelzer recounts his monstrous abuse story, and how he used the power of determination to survive and to inspire the readers to have courage. Everyone’s life is not perfect because we don’t have a yellow brick road to show us the way, but some people have a more appalling life than others and Pelzer’s childhood was one of them. Pelzer went through a lot including starvation and having to find food without his mother knowing because if she did he would be punished. One time Pelzer decided to steal frozen food from the school cafeteria because he wasn’t feed for days. When his mother founded out, as punishment and
Nowadays bullying has become the major and common problem for children and can awfully affect their lives in many different ways such as depression and suicide. William Golding’s novel, Lord of the Flies, takes place in the 1950’s in England, where Golding used to be a school teacher and face many types of problems among children. According to his novel, bullying is a particular problem for Piggy who cannot fit in a community because of his initial appearance. Even though Lord of the Flies has many purposes and it is not focused on just one target, Golding explains bullying and its impacts on Piggy very smoothly beside the main idea of the story. He shows how bullying causes Piggy to lose his self-confidence, breaking his glasses and became dependent and intimidated.
Bullying is a serious problem all over the nation and can lead to more serious problems. The columbine shooting was a cause of two students who were constantly being bullied. The gunfire that opened at columbine high school, was also one of the most horrendous massacre at a school. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were two students who had planned a even more terrible attack. Both students spend months preparing for this moment and throughout this essay we will learn what events and planning, lead to this tragedy.
Bullying is a phenomenon existing as long as humans exist. The fact that it didn’t have a name for years doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a widespread way of behavior, in cases where two different types of people were involved ; the strong and the weak ones. Although bullying is considered as a form of aggression, or in some cases as an infringement of the human rights, “bullying is commonly regarded as an aspect of aggression”. (Roland and Idsoe, 2001), there are significant differences between them , the most important of which that “bullying is different from peer conflict. It is conflict between individuals that do not share equal physical and / or psychological power.
Bullying is an undesirable, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves actual disparity of power. According to Megan Brooks bullying is a serious public health problems, with significant short-and long-term psychological consequences for the child who is bullied and the child who is the bully. This only tells us that bullying can lead to difficulty that a certain children may experience and will have either short or long term problem. “Bullying has long been tolerated as a rite of passage among children and adolescents, but it has lasting, negative consequences and cannot simply be ignored.” Committee chair Frederick Rivera, MD.
