Clarissa Fray, also known as Clary, is the main protagonist of The Mortal instruments: City of Bones. She’s short, has red curly hair, green eyes and a somewhat lanky figure. Clary is stubborn but a very compassionate person. She’s known for her unique ability to create new runes, considering she has more angle blood in her than any other Shadowhunter. Except for Jace, the second protagonist. Jace Lightwood is a skilled shadowhunter with the features of an literal angel but actions of a jerk. He has fine wavy dark golden-blonde hair and golden eyes, with an angular face and a narrow mouth. Jace has a slim muscular body covered in silver marks from years of runes. Jace is the kind of person who laughs while fighting dangerous creatures that …show more content…
You can expect lots of supernatural beings and actions. Warlocks, fairies, werewolves and vampires are creatures who inhabit the Shadow World, that can only be seen if you have the Sight. They also go by the term Downworlders. Supernatural actions as bloodsucking, abnormal healing and demon-summoning isn’t anything odd. Come to think of it, I would also place this book as a romance because it involves the protagonists slowly falling in love with each other as well as several love triangles throughout the novel. I think the reason the book goes by the title The Mortal instruments: City Of Bones is because the story partially takes place in the City of Bones, also known as the Silent City. The Silent City is a necropolis that holds the dead bodies of slain Shadowhunters, and is an important place in this book. This is where Clary was taken to get her mind examined by the Silent Brothers, in attempt to search for her memories. The Mortal Instruments are three divine objects, given by the Angel Raziel centuries ago. A mirror, a sword and a cup. Each object has it’s power, the Mortal Cup for example, has the power to create more Shadowhunters. In the book, the Cup goes

Are you a believer in signs or do you think events happen because of luck? People are either believers of everything happening for a reason or believers of people having luck, and everything always going right for them. In the film, the director shows a universal theme of a man struggling between faith and believing in the signs. Shyamalan expresses this through allegory, flashback, and conflict.

Family Is Worth It My whole life I have heard it said that family is everything and people would do anything to keep them safe. When I was younger I would say there 's no way i 'll give it up just like that, I have so many years to live and many things to do and learn. I have now realized that I actually agree with dying for someone that I really care about if the outcome is making them live longer.
With the temperament of the characters and the diction with which the author composed, the tale was able to draw the reader back to the 17th century, where the original history transpired. The pandemonium that occurred almost seems too absurd to be true; cries of witchcraft and claims of witnessing others conspire with the devil are anomalies that you would find only in a modern day horror film. To imagine living in an era in which these oddities are considered ordinary is nearly unbelievable, therefore making it difficult to fathom that these events ensued long
All though supernatural events don’t actually occur everyone believes and he story is based off of witchcraft, making this a theme, and the poppet adds depth to this

The theme of the book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone written by J.K. Rowling is "whenever someone needs help they should ask for it." In the book Harry Potter and the Sorceress Stone Harry asked a question to Hagrid he asks, " 'A what?" said Harry interested." Located on page 52-53.
