My family kept talking about going to Maine to see our family... In which I haven't seen since I was just born. It was decided we were going to Maine. My moms rule is, why fly, when you can drive for cheaper. Well it sounded cool and all to drive to Maine, until my mom said that it will take 2 days to get there. But, the good news was that we would get to stop at a hotel every night and the more I got to thinking about it, we would get to see some pretty awesome landmarks that we wouldn’t have been able to see if we flew. …show more content…

We were on our 2nd day on the road and I didn’t really know where we were going on the car ride, I just trusted my mom to get us where we needed to go. Well, out of the random my mom parked the car and told us all to get out. In the distance we could see mist in the air, and a that moment I knew were were at Niagara Falls. I stood right above the Falls. I felt free, and like I could see the whole world. It was just amazing! Being able to have Canada on one side of me and New York on the other, was the most amazing feeling ever. After being amazed by Niagara Falls my mom told us some pretty exciting news. She asked my cousin, Samantha who lives in a New York apartment if we could spend a night with her as we’re passing through to get to Maine… Samantha told us we could. Now, more fun
