On July 4, 2012 I was with my brothers and my friends. It was the funniest and most memorable day of my life. I remember this day like it was yesterday. I was in my bed thinking about July fourth my brothers and I were going to do. I woke up in the morning happy as ever because I was going to my family Fourth of July barbeque. My mom went shopping for us that morning and bought my brothers and me some clothes to wear to the barbeque. When my mom got home, she came to my room and said, look what I got you. My mom had gotten me and American flag shirt and American shorts with the new Jordan’s that came out. I was so happy that I gave my mom a kiss and said, Thank you, Mom After I finished getting ready for the day I was waiting for my dad to come get my mom, my brothers, and me. My family and I were in the car playing music from my dad’s phone because my Aunty Mary lived in Long Island. While we were on the highway, I was singing to the song on my dad’s phone. Next thing you know, I was falling asleep. I woke up in front of my aunt’s house. I heard music and saw some of my family member from the car window. Before I got out of the car, my cousins came up to me and said, ‘Hi Cousin’. I said, ‘how’s the barbeque?’ They said,’ it is fun. Everybody is enjoying themselves. I got out of the car. I saw my Aunty Mary, and I said,’ Hi Aunty Mary.’ She said,’ my favorite nephew in the whole wide world!’ I had a big smile on my face. I saw my Uncle Ray, Mark, and Kenny etc.
December 11, 2013. Around 5:00 I was sleeping in my bed, but then eventually my dad came thought the door the door followed with a bang. The bang woke me up my dad said get up get somethings where going to the hospital, I was up and I out of my bed as if I was in the Military. Then out the door, but my dad had to go back to lock the door, then to the Hospital where my mom was. We were at the hospital, but we walk like a snail into the hospital because it was icy you couldn’t see the ground because of the snow with the cold air blowing in my face, my dad said my nose was red and my eyes were watering so he held my face against his big brown winter coat he wore for work.
One day, I woke up excited and ready to start my day, when I suddenly the screams from my mom pieced my ears. She had to give me some good news. She walked into my room that morning to surprise me saying, “You were nominated to run for the great event happening in Boston this weekend.” I got out of my bed, and started packing my clothes for the big marathon. I had to catch the 12 noon flight, that same day.
It was my seventh grade year. We went down to Florida for my sister’s senior year spring break trip. It was nice to have my parents, my sisters and me all vacationing together; we were sure to have a good time. We were staying at a resort in Kissimmee, Florida, a couple minutes away from Orlando. We had many activities planned, Disney parks, downtown Disney and my personal favorite: Cape Canaveral.
It was a hectic day. My friend had to call and have his grandparents pick him up which took about 45 minutes because they lived kind of far away. During that time, my dad told me “pack your bags, we need to go visit your grandmother” I remember that I didn’t pack much because I couldn’t think. My mom immediately booked us plane tickets to Portland. It was super close but we made the flight.
When my aunt first told me that we were going to America, I was both excided and sad at the same time. I was sad because I hated to leave my country and friends that I had had from childhood. Those friends were always there for me whenever I needed them, and going to new country and making know friends was hard for me. One of the most painful moments for me, was seeing my father cry when I told him that my aunt was going to take us to America.
Once when I was about five, I was alone in my room coloring in my Hot Wheels coloring book. Then as I was picking up the Yellow Crayon, at the corner of my eye, I see a small little shadow just creep my cabinet in front of me. I quickly got up and ran towards my parent’s room with my coloring book, and I looked behind me and I saw that shadow running after me. As I was running, I stumbled over my own foot and fell.
Coming to Miami I can still remember that gloomy sky on October 21st 2001. It seemed like a normal day to me, yet that day would change my life forever. I remember my mother rushing around the house trying to gather my brother’s clothes while I just sat on the floor observing so much commotion around me. For an 8 year old, I was a very hipper child. I ran around the house, climbed trees, sat on the roof top which was 3 floors high.
My Trip to Florida It was a cold winter night in Upstate New York. My mom and dad were enjoying a cup of coffee, my sisters were playing video games, and I was editing a few pictures on my computer. My mom brought up the idea of a vacation. She said” We haven’t been on a vacation for a long time”.
One of the best days of my life was when we went deer hunting in South Dakota with my dad, brother, uncle and two cousins, but before I tell you about my trip let me tell you how it started. We left early in the morning to head to South Dakota where my cousin Jacob, who had just got a job as Game warden in Custer State Park, was taking us deer hunting. We got as far as Fargo, North Dakota when my cousin Keith asked my dad where our license were. Then to our surprise we forgot them back at home. We were lucky enough to have my two aunts and mom bring us the license because they were going to Fargo that day anyways for a girls shopping day.
My little nine-year-old brother was jumping up and down like a kangaroo shouting “Los Angeles Los Angeles. “ I helped my father to put all the suitcases in the back of the Range Rover. I went and sat at the back with my twin sister and younger brother on my left. The sunlight through the window made my black hair look like honey. My eyelids felt like lead and I fell asleep.
My parents woke up and rushed outside while I ran to the phone and dialed 911, when the phone was ringing I couldn’t stop shaking in terror, the 911 operator picked up, “911 where is your..”, “There is a fire at my neighbor house, our address is 1564 Cashmere street” I yelled before the operator could finish then I hung up the phone. I ran outside and yelled at my parents that I called 911. In the meantime my dad was running to get the garden hose to extinguish the fire while my mom ran to the neighbors’ to tell them of the fire. Just after I told them what I did I could hear the screams of the siren howl through the cold night. They were on their way.

The car was going in circles and we stopped by the car getting crashed into a big tree. The problem was the car had crashed by the front of the car. A memorable day I my life is when I first found out I was a diabetic. I was scared and didn’t really understand what was happening. I was too sick, and for the most part out of my mind. But, what I do remember is a lot of pain and a few visitors. It wasn’t the best day and I don’t remember every detail.
When I was a kid, my cousin/godbrother and I really love playing video games. Video games were like an everyday drug we need to stay alive. Without video games we would have been very bored, especially when no one outside to play with. Whenever a new video game got released we will find any kind of way to get that game, but we had got a unique lessen after this and it was patience. 10 years ago, my mother was a single parent with three kids same with my aunts
