The effect of this is that men will tend to use their power over women to dominate and to control over them. As a result, imbalance and a clash between the two sexes will propagate. As a result of social norms, gender stereotypes and movements that continue to empower women rights, the world appeared to have forgotten that men are also victims of the changes. “In the gender and development literature men appear very little, often as hazy background figures” (White 1997). Most episodes and participation of men towards the society made them appear to be the bullies and the superior ones. Some ways to prevent rampant centralized hazy perspective about men is to make policies and inform the mass about the alarming issue of men. Through this, it will create space for consciousness raising and self-reflection that will lead to an effective and powerful battle cry. Focusing on youth and socialization can also be the answer to the said problem. The family is the basic unit and the center of character formation of every human being. If there are proper teachings done inside homes, the youth will understand the situation even better. Spiritual institutions can also serve as models for empowering gender equality. There is a need for a change about the growing recognition of men because it abuses the human rights of a man. A whole lot of innovation and powerful disciplines are needed for gender equality to be successful. If men and women treat each other alike, most likely half of the world’s problem will be solved.
