Competitive youth sports have many benefits for kids and teens. However, many other people are convinced that sports can have a negative impact for children. But, there are still more positive effects in competitive sports. I believe that sports are beneficial for kids because they develop long-term life skills, improve physical well-being and health, and help expand their social skills. One positive effect of youth sports is that they help teach athletes important and long lasting lessons to have during their life.
My hardiness will drive me to face each patient’s need with the stability and strength I need. This career will allow me personal happiness and to utilize skills I already have or want to gain. I have worked with children since I was 17, and have a personal connection to children with disabilities. My nephew has cerebral palsy and his daily struggles touch my heart. Helping him do ordinary tasks gives me a profound fulfillment and joy.
Military children are faced with many difficult challenges throughout their childhood. Most end up with many quality traits, such as loyalty, and resiliency. It is a life filled with constant change. Many things, including parenting attitude can help them transition along the way. It is this life that makes them into what they are, strong kids, full of pride for their country.
Adapting communication for the age of the child helps prevent barriers as younger children need a lot more reassurance and support whereas young people are quite confident but are not sure how to reflect and deal with situations or problems. You could change the language you are using, as younger children don't have such a wide word vocabulary, the 5 year old won't need feedback, they will need encouragement and approval that what they have done is brilliant and you like it. All children of different ages need different things from the commutation they have with you. Schools provide a lot of situations such as 1:1 commutation to group communications.
Music has always been a part of my life. In definition, it is “vocal or instrumental sounds combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.” Ever since I was a young child, I have loved music. The strong, steady beats, the entrancing melodies, and the lyrics that vary between heartwarming and heart-wrenching have always had an unexplainable effect on my life. Music seems to have the ability to change certain aspects of my world.
Having the right knowledge, skills and experience in understanding how children or young people develop are very important tools for early years practitioners. We must put to mind that each child born to this world is unique; they are born with different characters and their personalities and behaviours are formed and influenced by variety of factors. These factors may affect their ways of interacting to the environment and community or setting in which they live in. In my experience as a child care practitioner most of the time, adults mainly focus on the physical development of a child and so quick to base their conclusion or judgement on the physical aspect.

On a daily basis, the average student does not have to handle or cope with a special needs child. Listening to music can also help you concentrate, that might seem a little unlikely because music might be distracting to you, but for kids like me music help us to focus. Classical music is scientifically proven to help enhance concentration levels and enhance memory. Sure though sometimes kids listen to the wrong kind of music and it messes with their concentration, but they just need to find the right kind. Music is also proven to help calm nerves, so they can just relax and focus on the task at hand. All it takes is the right kind of music and the person doing the job will have improved concentration

This means if “Mary Had a Little Lamb” is played with a different set of notes; humans would still recognize the song. If songs with only the same rhythm are so recognizable, does this mean music is more important to humans than believed?
