Technology may seem very innocent, or have the image as an incredible resource that we use on an everyday basis, but in some cases that statement is false. In our current day there are tons of types of technology that can help us with multiple things. Two of those things being simple tasks and communication with others. While there are obviously so many positive flaws on technology, there are some negative, mainly on students. The number one negative effect on students and technology is cheating on school work. There are many ways students today could cheat on a test, and you guessed it, technology makes up most of them. It 's actually becoming a major problem in our society. Plus most of it is coming from modern day technology. The devices parents buy their kids can actually be used as cheating tools. One way is taking a picture or searching for answers from your smartwatch or smartphone. At first glance you may think a Fitbit is harmless, but even it can help you can see messages your friends send you to help you cheat. You can text them questions then they can see the messages on their Fitbit. There are also such thing as “smart glasses” where you can record an audio file then connect it to your phone. Then you can play notes easily with a touch of a button. The most worrisome concept of this topic is computers, as time keeps passing and passing by technology will get better and better.
