The dangers of Technology
Imagine how your life would look like if there is no technology! Personally, I started to think if I can be away from using technology including my phone, laptop or even any technology for about three days. I realized that I could not. Then I was wondering how our predecessors did not use technology, and yet they survived. Technology became everything in our society today, we use it everywhere, at home, school, work, street, busses, cars and so else. It became a huge part of our daily lives that we are not capable to be away from. Who in our society today does not use technology such as the alarm that wakes us up every morning, the fridge that keeps our food fresh, the microwave that heats up our food, the coffee maker, the car, the cellphones, Laptops, Social Media such as Facebook, Instagram,

Many people spend most of their time using technology. In fact, according to Tamar Lewin, “The average young American now spends practically every waking minute — except for the time in school — using a smart phone, computer, television or other electronic device, according to a new study from the Kaiser Family Foundation” (NYTimes). Also, as Liz Thomas, and Paul Revoir explains in their article that, “We now spend almost half of our waking hours either online, on the phone, or watching television according to a survey. The average adult is awake for 15 hours and 45 minutes every day and 45 percent of that time is spent using a proliferation of technology. As a result, many of us are increasingly adept at multi-tasking - with computer users sending emails while listening to music or watching television or texting and surfing the internet at the same time” (Computers and TV Take up Half our Lives as We Spend Seven Hours a Day Using Technology).
