In the beginning of our technical evolution, more emphasis was placed on development of a solution and less on the implications it may have on society or the environment. Early technical development, because of a smaller knowledge base and lack of communication, was very slow and sometimes took hundreds of years. As we progressed through time and developed more ideas and solutions, it became easier and faster. Increased knowledge, communication and writing, and the ability to improve current products played an important role in the change process. “Hazard” and “Risk “are often used interchangeably. Risk is the likelihood that a person may be harmed or suffered from adverse health effects if exposed to a hazard. Therefore, risk can be minimized, although the hazard is there. The most common of hazards are usually physical objects, which include, but are not limited to unguarded machinery, pieces of furniture, or chemicals. However, these are the most often overlooked hazards, and this can be attributed to our familiarity with these objects. Whilst a flight of stairs can be seen as a hazard, we don’t necessarily view stairs as hazardous as we constantly use them everyday. With the advancement of technology it is very necessary to have well trained persons to operate advanced and sophisticated machines. Hazards are not always things that we can physically see. The exposure to intense and extreme temperatures, vibrations and noise levels can also be regarded as hazardous to our health. Even if you are not responsible for conducting a risk assessment, it is important to be trained on how to recognize, assess and control hazards found in the workplace. To help you get started, we have addressed below some of the most common examples of workplace hazards, and how risk from these hazards can be prevented. Some technical hazards involve less technicians and high cost of technology along with many training
Technology plays a significant role in every aspect of our lives. It is what separates modern society from an archaic past. It’s open-endedness and potential for great change make it nearly impossible to gain a complete understanding of its effects. Without this overarching understanding, many of us develop an improper indication of how powerful these advances could become. As a result, we fear what we don’t know and artificial intelligence is often Enemy Number One.
Wajcman is the author of the book Feminism confronts Technology, this book provided us with a strong concept for building a feminist outlook into the social science debates about technology. It provides us with a great analysis of the power of technology on the lives of women, and it shows us that there is a pre-made male prejudice formed in the way that technology is defined and designed. The

Life is all about making decisions. Making the right decision that positively affects yourself and others, and trying your best not to make the wrong choices that may negatively hurt yourself and others. Paragraph #1:
The term "health hazard" encompasses the following: • Toxicity – is the ability of a substance to cause a harmful effect. Everything is toxic at some point. Even too much WATER can KILL! • Toxicity vs. Dose o Toxicity – level of poison o Dose – amount exposed to o Less the toxicity, greater dose one can tolerate without ill effects o Greater the toxicity, less dose one can tolerate without becoming sick • Acute vs.
People today can already see the social impacts that technology has had on there lives today, when comparing them to 5 to 10 years ago. Engineers and scientist are already trying to figure how to program our laws into robots and make them as safe as possible to be around humans. But with programmers trying to make robots as humanly possibly it does make you question and rethink yourself as to what direction is technology heading towards. The aspects of this essay brings up not just the currents issues but also further issues that we may have over natural resources. To build more technology, you need more minerals and much of today’s minerals are controlled by foreign countries.
Failures and successes in life have led many people to believe that destiny plays a role in one's future life outcome. Some say destiny, the “hidden power believed to control what will happen in the future”, is unchangeable; fate has already decided how one will live their life. Although in some cases this may be true, one is able to change their destiny by the deeds and actions they commit during their lifetime. Many people disregard the idea that actions play a large role in forming one's future.

Nothing says “human nature” like love and individuality. Part of what makes humans unique is our species’ ability to show compassion and caring for our peers and surroundings. Many people, particularly older generations, believe that the overuse of social technology has ruined the appreciation that younger generations have for the world around them. In Ray Bradbury’s stories, “The Pedestrian” and “The Veldt”, he gives examples of how technology could ruin our affiliations to what would be considered human characteristics. In “The Pedestrian”, Bradbury describes a futuristic world in which no one socializes or takes walks because they are so consumed with their televisions with the exception of one man; in “The Veldt”, parents using advanced

Christian Lange once stated that “Technology is a useful servant, but a dangerous master” (Christian Lange). Society is becoming more and more reliant on technology, but there may come a time in which people solely rely on it to function.
