Introduction

Mass media is the main source that majority of us turn to when we want to know about the latest current events, watch videos or find out the definition of a word. In many cases, mass media is the only source that majority of people relies on for news. From this single source, people receive their knowledge of the world. As we all know, Radio, printed media (magazines, newspapers etc.), televisions and internet are the types of mass media. But in this assignment, we are going to discuss about one type of mass media that has become an integral part of homes in the modern world. Televisions.
The presence of televisions has been such a stronghold over the years and every household owns at least one. Televisions, other than for entertainment, also a valuable resource for advertising and different kinds of programming. Televisions gives a very convenient way to connect to the outside, even if the person lives in a remote place.
