With Pataskala being a miniscule town about thirty minutes away from Columbus, The Nutcracker is a quaint, small-scale restaurant. Are the regulars a big part of business or is it mostly intriguing outsiders?

There is one man in particular that comes in every day two to three times to eat. Also, every Friday we have a group of motorcyclists come in for lunch. If we did not have regulars we would not have business.” says Rachel.

In these stories, it seems that what the characters truly find valuable always turns out to be something other than money and riches. In Tuck Everlasting what Winnie found valuable in the beginning to her was freedom and just wanted to get out of her house and yard, but through most of the story and by the end she truly found valuable was the friends she had made during her journey and her home, and even though in this story many people would find the immortality that her friends had to be the most valuable thing in the universe, she saw them as valuable friends than immortal people. In A Christmas Carol Scrooge first saw money to be wealthy, but later in the story he saw that wealth to him was kindness and making up for what he had done in

That was a pancake restaurant that had been around since my dad was young. I always wanted to go there because of their dreamy, warm, buttermilk pancakes. After I finished my delightful 5 pancakes, it was time to open the presents. My mother, Carey, had got me the coolest blue and grey Nike shoes! Perfect for the game!

Ignatius’s appetite knows no bounds. Near the beginning story, Ignatius makes his mother buy him a box of twenty-four jelly doughnuts. Patrolman Mancuso, who is visiting Mrs. Reilly to discuss the car accident, notices something strange about the same box of doughnuts: “She offered Patrolman Mancuso a torn and oily cake box that looked as if it had been subjected to unusual abuse during someone’s attempt to take all of the doughnuts at once. At the bottom of the box Patrolman Mancuso found two withered pieces of doughnuts out of which…the jelly had been sucked” (39 Toole).
His last of the ballets, The Nutcracker has been brought about in 1891 and wasn’t performed until December 1892. The Nutcracker was the most frequently performed ballets out of all his pieces. The story was based on E.T.A Hoffmann fantasy story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, regarding a girl who befriends a nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve and the battle against the evil Mouse King. His story precedes dark and troubling. Tchaikovsky, while in Paris, discovered a new instrument called the celesta, a clear, bell-like tone which fits the fairy-tale style of the Nutcracker.
The “Pas De Deux of the Sugarplum Fairy” is a classic piece from The Nutcracker created by contemporary ballet choreographer, George Balanchine. Balanchine’s expresses the Sugarplum Fairy and her Cavailer’s homage by creating a redefined version of grand pas de deux and several other reformed ballet movements
And so generations of kids, and adults, too, have stood transfixed by the Willy Wonka-like scene behind the glass of doughnut shops, learning in the process that the doughnut hole is built in, not cut out. (David A. Taylor, Smithsonian.com) In the 1930s the first Krispy Crème was opened in Paducah, Kentucky. The owner, Joe LeBeau, came from New Orleans to share his secret recipe. On November 28th, 2015 I attended Ben Stevenson’s version of The Nutcracker which was being performed by the Houston Ballet at the Wortham Theater Center. The dance featured two separate acts and multitude of dances as well as a live orchestra. The Nutcracker demonstrated the ability to unleash a multitude of emotions as well captivate its audience with music composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky of the Romantic era, usage of modern technologies and techniques such as lighting and special effects, as well as its wide variety of dance types such as solo dances, pas de deux, and large group dances with a focus on a central figure or couple. Despite dance being the primary subject, it is necessary to note the performance of the orchestra of Tchaikovsky’s
