Ecotourism as one of the parts of tourism industry encourages tourists to visit the nature when they should be responsible for the biodiversity and it aims to conserve the nature and local community’s culture. According to ( TIES ) the definition of ecotourism is “responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment, sustains the well-being of the local people and involves interpretation and education to staff and guests.” Ecotourism Australia as the case study of this paper first initiated in 1992 from enthusiasm of small groups and after 20 years it has become the world 's most respected industry organization in ecotourism. In this paper, the sustainability of this green activity based on different literate resources is to be discussed that whether it is sustainable or not. Thus the positive and negative impacts of ecotourism as well as the ways ecotourism creates awareness would be discussed in this study.
