ANTIFA is a political protest movement affiliated by their militant opposition to facism and other forms of extreme right-wing ideology (). ANTIFA is short for “anti-facist.” Some may say that ANTIFA is a terrorist group due to the acts of violence being carried out by ANTIFA. Some may also say that ANTIFA is not a terrorist group due to some believing their intentions were not to commit acts of violence. So, is ANTIFA a terrorist group? In 2017, a high profile case occurred for two days of conflict in Charlottesville, Virginia. Anti-right wing protesters ended up clashing with the right wing supporters. A right wing supporter drove a car into a crowd of people protesting and ended up killing one person and injuring 35 other people. The GTD developed six criterias to determine whether an incident should be included in the database. Three out of the six criterias should always be present for an incident to be included. The first three mandatory criteria are that the incident must be intentional, include some level of violence or immediate threat of violence, and that the perpetrators of the incident must be sub-national actors. At least two of the three following criteria must be present as well to be included in the GTD, the act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal, there must be evidence of an intention to coerce, intimidate, or convey some other message to a larger audience, and that the action must be outside the context of legitimate warfare activities (). In the article, “Trump Defends Initial Remarks on Charlottesville; Again Blames Both Sides”, the author named Michael D. Shear starts with a chronological order of events that took place. The author brings up an effective statement about how President Donald Trump’s change of mind had been to deny any portrayal of condemning the white supremacist group of the Charlottesville Protest. Michael D. Shear points out that Trumps misleading statements could mean that he is taking a side even stating himself that he blames both sides and could potentially agitating many people. The main idea of this article consists the blame of President Trump’s improvised remarks towards the Charlottesville Protest. The two groups that had been reported in this situation were the white supremacists who opposed of the removal of Confederate monuments and the other group who were the counter-racist protestors.

For almost 100 years the ACLU has worked to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the constitution and laws of the U.S. The ACLU is a non-profit organization. They have worked hard to change policies and help America in many situations.
The year is 1865, the Civil War has ultimately come to an end, thus eventually leading to a new chapter in American history. The Thirteenth Amendment, passed by former president Lincoln, permanently abolished slavery all throughout the Union and Confederate states. Undoubtedly, it became the solution to reconstruct the states back together, yet it brought misfortune to the freedmen and their families. As a result, great tension and hatred instantly emerged within Southern states as African Americans shared the land now equivalent to American citizens with rights. However, freedom came with a high price.

In 2010, Arizona S.B. 1070 was an anti-illegal immigration law that was passed to focus on identifying, prosecuting, and deporting undocumented immigrants. Arizona’s law enforcement officials could detain anyone who was suspected of living in the country illegally. The law also made it a state misdemeanor crime to for an alien to not carry registration papers and people in the country illegally to solicit work. Although it caused a tragic loss of American life due to discordant values, the Civil War was a necessary evil as the United States would be unrecognizable if it hadn’t. This paper will discuss the multifaceted instigators of the Civil War, the tactical advantages and disadvantages of each dissenting side, and the effects of the war on the daily lives of the Confederate civilians. While the elimination of slavery is often cited as the principal motivation to start the Civil War, there were several other cultural, political, economic. and ideological factors that were major contributions.
It was April 12th,1861 when the Civil War in America officially began. The main argument from the South for secession was that they felt that the North was imposing their ideas on them starting from the abolitionists from decades prior. The ACLU derived from the National Civil Liberties Bureau which was co-founded in 1917 during the World War 1 by an attorney activist Crystal Eastman, and Roger Nash Baldwin. The focus of the CLB was on primarily anti-was speech, freedom of speech, and on supporting people who did not want to serve in World War 1. Now, during the time of November 1919 and January 1920 there were raids called the “Palmer Raids.” An attorney general by the name of Mitchell Palmer began rounding up and deporting people.
The National Security Agency also known as the NSA, it's an intelligent organization of the United States government who monitors foreign countries and collects information of people. The NSA is economically beneficial towards the government of the United States some reasons consist of the prevention of dangerous terrorist attacks, funding's in the government, and the prevention of hackers taking over the system. Though at the same time the NSA should be stopped because they have invaded the privacy of many people without their consents. Currently, the United States has been facing terrorist attack, which has caused many deaths and tragedies not only to the United States but as well towards the world.

The Klan was able to put forth such a radical candidate because the politicians in the city before were obnoxiously corrupt and the voters were losing patience. Michigan Klan used this opportunity to gain more influence; they were successful. Michigan was unique because during the progressive era, the state experienced an influx of both Catholic immigrants and Black Americans.

There stood deep social, economic, and political disparities between the North and the South. These modifications stemmed from the understanding of the United States Constitution on both sides. In the end, most of these disputes about the rights of states directed to the Civil War. There existed reasons other than slavery on behalf of the South 's breakaway.
We are now living in a time of discrimination.
