This is a phase of bodybuilding in which the daily diet is adjusted to more calories are being consumed than are burned off. The result is a calorie surplus that will lead to weight gain. Some of the items available at fast food restaurants can provide thousands of calories. The consumption of fast foods means maintaining a calorie surplus will not be difficult. Some people might see this as an easier approach to bulking as clean foods often have minimal calories. Dirty bulking may also be cheaper than clean bulking as fast food is typically cheaper compared to healthy food. The time and energy that is needed for clean bulking is not needed for dirty bulking as only goal is to eat a lot of food to put on calories.

Eating foods with the goal of maintaining a calorie surplus will eventually lead to a build up of fat that people need to quantify. The amount of fat a person needs will vary and eating foods with no regard to calorie counts can have downsides. “As a culture, we no longer discuss healthy eating without also discussing unhealthy weights…eating too much-often without any parallel warnings against eating too little…overeating constitutes ‘the greatest threat’ to our survival” (Maxfield 444). The main point in both of these articles that both authors agree with is the fact that people don’t add up all their calories they eat daily, which should be less than or equal to 3500 calories. When you go to a fast food restaurant, usually a normal “healthy” person would get a salad, large drink, and a side item like fries; this normally doesn’t seem like a lot of calories, but then you add the dressing and this healthy lunch turns out becoming an unhealthy 1700 calories already in one meal. Not only is fast food a lot of calories, but it is really cheap too, and most people spend their money on this instead of eating healthy and spending more money. “Americans spend less than 10 percent of their income on food; they also spend less than a half hour a day preparing meals and little more than an hour enjoying them” (Pollan 439).
I don't care how healthy the food is, if you eat too much of anything you will gain weight."

For starters, the price gap between actual groceries and fast food is astronomical. When you can buy a burger at a fast food restaurant for a dollar but a salad at the same place cost 7 dollars, the cheaper option—more times than not— appears to be more desirable. In many cases, the financial burden forces them to sacrifice a healthy lifestyle for full bellies. While accessibility to healthier food choices is scarce in many areas, fast food restaurants have managed to appear on just about every corner.
I spent hundreds of dollars on supplements, shakes and eBooks and nothing worked. I was desperate to get big arms and finally look great on the beach in summer. I was so pissed off with seeing other guys getting bigger and more ripped and I was still this skinny guy. I looked in the mirror and saw a teenage boy, not a man.
Supersize Me The reason that you gain weight is that you eat more calories than you spend during the day. So in order to loose weigh, you would just have to eat less calories than you actually need. However, many people simply don’t think of this. In today’s world, there is a division among the people in the world regarding whether or not it is ethical to eat meat. After researching about eating meat and vegetarianism, I have come to the conclusion that it is indeed ethical to eat meat in today’s society.
