“Global warming isn’t a prediction. It’s happening.” - James Hanson. This short and simple quote from Dr. James Hanson was used in New York Times article that he wrote about global warming. This article dates back to 2012, and global warming is still a thing today. It has gotten much worse, and Hanson is right when he said that at the time. Global warming is a worldwide problem that is overlooked by people, but as right now it might not majorly affect us now, it could very well do so in the future. But there are ways to avoid this atrocity, as it could solve many other issues too. Carpooling can be the shepherd of the Earth and its climate. Carpooling is when two or more people are in one vehicle instead of each of those people having to …show more content…
As also carpooling can use High Occupancy Lanes (HOV) to drive too, which are lanes specifically designed so vehicles such as carpools can drive through and have to deal with less traffic. In the article, it states, “Supporters of carpooling cite many benefits in addition to reduced environmental impact, including less stress, more time to read or sleep, opportunities to socialize or work, the advantage of being able to use HOV lanes, and the sharing of commuting costs such as tolls, gas, and car maintenance.” This quote also explains that carpooling can in fact benefit work schedules and transportation. It also helps when there are only a limited number of parking …show more content…

They also point out that global warming consensus is not based on science, but for the political purpose. From my perspective, the severity of climate change indeed can affect the decisions of policy-makers, such as green policy and governance. But it does not mean that people can just ignore the consequences of the enormous emission of greenhouse gases in the past few decades. First of all, countries in Latin America and Africa tend to concern more about climate change issue than other regions. I have noticed that the majority of climate change skeptics mentioned in the documentary were from U.S..
According to an encyclopedia source,by 1919,”the need for a planned system of national highways became discernible with the proliferating common use of cars in the United States”(Source #4).In addition, another source claims that “more than 90 percent of the nation’s households have access to automobiles”(Source #7).As directly indicated by these two sources, automoibles weren’t a luxury, but rather they were true necessities for many. While cars were being produced between 1908 and 1927,specifically that of Henry Ford’s Model T,many people now wanted to travel however needed an effective system that would be able to save them much more time. As a result, these very crucial interstate highways have ultimately expanded

There’s a partially alarming and partially encouraging trend rising with pollution in giant metropolitan areas. associate degree increasing variety of major cities area unit reaching dangerous levels of health-threatening pollution, that is clearly the scary part, however there’s additionally associate degree increasing variety of municipal governments taking bit by bit a lot of forceful approaches to deal with those problems, and a giant a part of that's the move to EVs. Several major cities, like Paris, have resolved to limit the amount of vehicles on the road on any given day by solely permitting cars with odd-numbered registrations plates someday and even-numbered consequent. They're additionally creating transport free throughout those

The technology that we have today is unbelievable compared to what the companies had when we first started to make cars. We all know that our future is getting more and more advanced, and we will possibly have these self driving cars within the next ten years. Overall, we need to prepare ourselves for the next generation of cars. This research paper is written to explain safety, pollution, and time that will be saved with the use of self driving cars.
Climate Change This quote said by Washington State Governor, Jay Inslee shows the severity of climate change “We are the first generation to feel the sting of climate change, and we are the last generation that can do something about it.” “On Earth human activities are changing the natural greenhouse of the Earth.” (A blanket around the Earth). Burning fossil fuels is causing carbon dioxide to be released into the air.
Global warming is a big problem that we have to face nowadays. If you search Google for the word “global warming’, you will get over 70 million pages of results. The subject has certainly drawn a lot of attention. And now I will talk more about “what is global warming” , the cause and the effects it has on the earth and also some possible solutions for this problem.
This problem is controversial because some people believe that that global warming isn 't real and others believe it is. There is evidence that global warming is real because some scientist agree that the earth 's rising temperatures is due to all of the pollution. My opinion on it is that it is clearly real and we need to do something to stop it. If we do not stop all of the pollution in this world, it can affect everyone 's way of living in the future.
Climate Change is something that we have caused because of our choices to burn fossil fuels, at some point we have to face the problems that we have created. The consequences of Climate Change are horrific and Climate Change could end our existence as a species, most people do take action against Climate Change except, The Government of the United States of America, refuses to accept the serious dangers of climate change and continues releasing propaganda on Climate Change, claiming its effects are minimal and that we are not causing it. Peculiar how almost every other government in the world thinks otherwise. The reasons we are heading in the wrong direction is because the actions of humans are causing Climate Change, and almost all scientists agree on this matter. Another reason is the that the government isn’t trustworthy in what they say about Climate Change, meaning what they say about Climate Change is wrong, and we should change our policy on Climate Change.
