Introduction Extremism is a tendency to go to extremes or an instance of going to extremes, esp. in politics (The Free Dictionary, 2015). There can be many ways to describe extremism, but it is not strange for people all around the world. The word extremism is strange for some people, but it certainly isn’t that common. For example, terrorism, it happened just recently. Most people think that, extemists are those who wore black, has a huge bag. But now, we couldn’t see if they are wearing a mask, or is it their true color. Why did people take a chance to join this cruel and inhuman group? There are many reason to answer that question. First, people could join group of extemists because they wanted revenge, those who has been, or saw a family …show more content…
First, economic damage, as mentioned by Chalk Peter (2000) ‘contaminating work-places, destroying infrastructure and eliminating human capital. An attack could also trigger a run on international financial markets’. A country would have to pay for buildings damages, and it wouldn’t be a small amount of money. Loss of jobs, if the places attack is a business place, which in most case, it is (Gail Makinen, 2002). Second, loss of people. An extremism action usually causes death, example suicide attack, it wouldn’t only kill themselves, but it would kill others too, even the innocent one. Another example, recently Pakistan has been attacked, it killed more than 20 people and 30 people are are injured (Aljazeera, 2016). Third, panic. An attack surely will causes panic, it could be for a while or longer. A country or a society that has just been attack will command their citizens to stay at home or stay as far as possible from the venue of attack. The citizen would then feel insecure, a feeling that the extremists would go after them and think about the possibilities that could happen after the …show more content…
Because they knew there is nothing possible they can do, except for murdering those who makes their live miserable over the past year. So, the way to prevent further action is to do something right, no one might be able to stop extremists for doing what they did, but everyone could start with a simple step; to do the right things. Extremists is like the modern version of robin hood, they didn’t steal money, they steal justice, and return it to the right person. Some of the person that they killed were meant to be someone powerful, someone who has power to overthrow minorities, they know for sure that some powerful people stole their money and they wanted to give their money back, to make poeple get what they deserve. Extremists brings justice to minorities, but the way they bring justice is to kill people, so no one is treated unfairly. So, if they want to be treated fairly, then treat them like they wanted to be treated. But, don’t treat them like fragile people, treat them with respect and
But if attacks like this keep happening, it could start happening more, and more, and spread to bigger cities across this once great nation. Which has been polluted with political filth like Donald Trump and Sarah Palin. Pathetic. But, point being if these situations are not halted immediately, then only more angst and anger will boil till the point of simmering off and burst into violent outrage.
These terrorist attacks would cause a major shift in the way immigration was handled by the United States. The Homeland Security Act was passed by President Bush in 2002, which was solely created to keep the U.S. safe from future terrorist attacks. This department oversees numerous agencies, especially including the agencies that involve immigration. Immigration enforcement has increased due to the increasing rate of deportation. “Immigrant removals — including deportations and so-called voluntary departures — went from roughly 200,000 people in 2001 to nearly double that in 2011.”
If you are mean to someone, then they will be mean back. So if you want to be treated with respect, then you got to give respect to
Merriam-Webster dictionary states that an extremism is the, “belief in and support for ideas that are very far from what most people consider correct or reasonable” (Extremism) those who believe in extremism are extremist and people today might not agree that Martin Luther King Jr. was an extremist, but during his time everything was much different; therefore, everything King fought for was an extreme during his time, but to us it would not be considered extreme. King later goes on to address the Church as an organization in itself, “So often it is an archdefender of the status quo. Far from
Illness mass killing. Terrorists bombing. People wouldn’t be able to read or be able to do simple math. Thankfully, America’s Founding Fathers had given us these gifts, and I’m glad for it. Many have left their countries for a chance at a better life in America, to get the gifts that America is offering.
A little over a year ago, over one hundred civilians were killed at an Eagles of Death Metal concert. The terrorist attack group, ISIS, claimed responsibility. There is constant fear of terrorism. It could happen anywhere, to anyone. Lately, there is a lot of hate in the world, and the United States, along with other countries need to put an end to all the hate.
If people fully understood the peaceful nature of Muslims, they would no longer see Muslims as the villains. They would intern see terrorist as the villains and not condemn a group of people removing a villain once previously
Radicalization is still a terrible thing for our society and many others. Many people that are radicalized are people that have nothing to lose and are violent. This leads to the potential loss of life when these people decide to demonstrate their views, whether it is through riot or terrorist attack, it will always threaten innocent lives. Going into this I
Murderers and savages would walk the same streets your children would. Would you like the roads to be painted red with your children 's crimson blood? The government would be in ruins and other countries would try to conquer the bits and pieces of the
People assume that because someone is Islam or Muslim that they must be a terrorist, and they become weary of them to protect themselves. These situations demonstrate how permitting self-preservation to lead to hysteria causes destruction and hurt throughout the community. If not fixed, these situations will lead the destruction of the world. The theme of hysteria and self-preservation is evident throughout The Crucible and in real life.
The people that are walking down the city streets think that every time a madman to kill someone, they think it’s not safe anymore while they are walking to lunch or to work so they have to drive to work and get stuck in traffic and be late to work. It’s making people afraid on what’s going to happen to them since they are having their kids going to school by themselves and making their lives worse because who knows what’s going to happen to them during the day.
So the question is not whether we will be extremist but what kind of extremist will we be” (10). Dr Martin Luther King Jr. alludes to these five people because they are considered extremists but worked to fight evil in the world and became very popular and loved because of this. King says that even though he is an extremist, he is not a bad extremist because he is fighting darkness with light through his peaceful protests. This allusion causes the audience to trust that King is a good person and that what he
After a terrorist attack of any kind there are always consequences that must be faced. Sometimes the point of the terrorist attacks is because the organization wished to send a message or to influence policy in their favor. However, after the 9/11 attacks administrators realized that the United States was not prepared for a tragedy of this kind and had little to no measures to prevent one, this lead them to create new programs and policies. Terrorist organization’s goal often comes down to one of the following: regime change, territorial change, policy change, social control and status quo maintenance. The main purpose of a terror attack may well be to influence public policy.
There should be nobody that should be treated differently from others around them self. Everybody should treat each other the same way that they want to be treated the same.
What happens in a terrorist attack affects many people in the world. The aftermath of an attack is what has the largest impact on people’s lives. However, terrorism does not have the same effect on everyone. The threat is not taken as seriously by some people. Some might think that it is an empty threat, but others might think it is a serious threat.
