Or is it somewhere where you can go to school or work feeling protected and safe? The lack of involvement in gun control is leading to the increase in violence and causing severe problems in our society. Through the second amendment, gun control has become an issue to American society. The dangers of these weapons are not a secret, it’s merely the nature of guns. Some people argue that guns were created to protect oneself, while others suggest that they were created to destroy and harm an intended target. Gun control should start to be taken seriously and new, stricter laws should be created and should include stricter guidelines
