People don’t want to hear the truth, because they don’t want their illusions destroyed. Ignorance is the strongest weapon a dictator can use towards his people. North Korea is the most isolated country on Earth. His leader Kim Jong-Il rules as a God king. His followers praise him like someone with supernatural powers. They think everything that happens to them is because of him, and they are thankful for it. One of the things that surprise them the most was, that here were no pictures of the family; only pictures of their great leader and his father Kim Jong-un. They love their leader with such a passion that to them he is the most important person they know. To them, they live happy and secure thanks to their commander. All that they wanted at every moment was to thank him for everything. Kim Jong-Il had 24 millions of people loving him and willing to die for him. But again, why were they feeling like this?

To them the rest of the world is useless, they don’t need it. They have been taught since birth to obey and love their dictator. What he says it’s what they believe. He had the ability to control the minds of his people. Even though some were starving due to limited amount of food resources, and some were getting sick and dying due to the lack of medical equipment, they still thank him. When the doctor finish all his surgeries, every patient was waiting to see their result. The first patient was a young girl who had been blind for a long time. The minute she realize she could see, she went praise and thank her leader for giving her sight back. And so did every other patient on that day. They were more thankful to
